Do you accrue your vacation time on your hire date? My last employer did that. I wasn't particular nuts about it. We got all our days for the year at once and we had to use them by that date or lose them. Currently I earn about 4.3 hours per week, and I like this method much better.

Haha! Being single makes you super rich! I remember way back when, when I was 19, 20, 21, 22 and I had a job that paid me just north of 30k, I could literally do anything! One year I spent 20k on just booze. Another year I went to like 40 concerts. I hit one almost every week all over the Northeast. I never thought to travel the world though. I'm pretty sure I missed out. But I'm also pretty sure I'd have wound up in a Singapore prison at some point.

I just got done cleaning up after making my family buttermilk pancakes on this fine morning. My wife and kid were over the moon for them, they both had seconds. And ya know what? Pancakes suck. They do! They're way worse than waffles, and not in the same league as French toast. Omelettes completely destroy them, so do scrambled, sunny side up, over easy and fried egg sandwiches. Man! Pancakes blow. The only worse breakfast foods are possibly oatmeal and definitely grits.

Winter Olympics? Umm how about Norway. By a f'n mile! Yeah, I'll take Norway to continue their Nordic dominance!
