  1. This is false. The conversation is not on the health care law in so far as it's worth to society, the conversation is on the dishonesty of public officials, up to and including the current President of the United States, Barrack Obama. Yes, Barrack Obama, let me say that one more time for you, so you have full understanding, he lied to the American people, IMPEACH! I fully understand your apathy, that's why I'm of the opinion it's way to late for the current populace, but the younger generations have a chance if we, as a society, address the seriousness of the situation now. But that wouldn't be in the best interest of the politicians, the American people, yes, the politicians, no.
  2. Completely agree d4rksabre. The apathy towards this type of behavior has to be removed from future generations at the youngest of levels, from teaching an actual "honesty" course in school to actually teaching law all the way through school. The current populace is way to far gone. But, that is just my opinion.
  3. The conversation is not about the law itself. But, if your attempting to chide me into a "what side of the aisle do you stand on then" situation I will tell you right out I stand on the single payer side but that is neither here nor there. It doesn't change the fact he lied. Correcting the problem with our governing leaders starts and ends with honesty. I hold both parties equally accountable. Bush should straight out be executed for mass murder in Iraq. Clinton I give a pass on, I don't care about his sexual exploits and it should have never gone into the federal level at all. He did however, lie to the American people, IMPEACH! And the list goes on, look, standing ones ground on this issue is all the American people have to do. Demand honesty or there will be real repercussions. That isn't happening and hasn't for a long time. It has to stop, to allow any of it, no matter how minor or major is to invite what I stated above. And that doesn't change.
  4. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't the Senate a Democrat majority? I believe so. Even if not at 60 it was still more than 50 at the time the ACA passed. Also, didn't the Bill require the Presidents signature to become law? Yea, I believe I read that somewhere........ Don't attempt to use political fighting between the 2 parties in an attempt to redirect attention from the "fact", yes "fact" that the White House knew, yes knew, that the President was going to the American people with bold face lies. They knew people would lose their current health plans and still he went on to state you don't have to lose your current plan if you like it. That my friend, is a bold faced lie to the American people. IMPEACH! Game, set, match......... EDIT: Oh, and by the way, the core reason why this country is in the shape that it is in is specifically because the American people at large have failed completely to hold public officials accountable. That is a very real threat to any future course for this nation. You may not see it, but take the blinders off man, you cannot get around this fact. Once again, irrelevant point. It was a Democrat signature plan, not a Republican. The Republicans did not go to the American people with the bold face lie that Obama did. Now, with that said, they are incompetent for not pointing out he was not being truthful, but since they are politicians and most of them are sheep to corporate america I'm not surprised they didn't point this out at all. Incompetence, greed and straight out dishonesty is not a good indication this nation has a leadership that will ever do the right thing by the American people.
  5. Oh really? Jeez, I don't know, it looks like this President is just like the rest of em, incompetent or straight out a deceiver or crook. Have you looked at the ACA? Seriously, the American Affordable Care Act (known as Obama Care) wasn't sabotaged, it passed, and it's his signature work. Oh, it's a disaster by the way. Just look at all the lies that were told and come to find out, the White House (i.e. Barrack Obama) knew they existed and still went to the American public knowingly telling straight out lies. To me as a common sense person, and I'm an independent by the way, he should have been impeached immediately. For above all else the American people should fully and completely expect their political leaders to be honest, since they are the ones writing and putting into play the very rules (known as laws) we live by. To expect anything less is complete insanity.
  6. touche' good sir, touche'
  7. SOTU speech is just that, a speech. It used to actually inform the public, many moons ago. Now it's just another way for one of the two political parties to trumpet or champion their respective causes, depending on which party is in office at the time. There is no real substance in it and serves no other purpose any longer. As to the Ukrainian situation, very serious there.
  8. Great, just ###### great, now that blow hard McKenzie thinks he knows because he's "actually" hearing things from insiders, "real insiders" that the market for Ryan Miller is luke warm right now. Thanks Bob for killing my "we are going to get a bundle for Miller" dream. ###### you Bob, just ###### you :P
  9. We can't have Callahan, he knows how to pot the puck and we don't need scorers on this team for the tank next season in the race for McDavid :P
  10. Blues beat writer: at the beginning and the 6 minute mark......Ryan Miller http://www.101sports.com/podcasts/jeremy-rutherford-addresses-the-influx-of-ryan-miller-rumors-around-town-01-27-2014/
  11. And this season one of those things they can dow with Miller in net they can't seem to do with Enroth in net is win :P
  12. I'd draft Ekblad no matter what. Then, if it's even possible, trade with Edmonton for that high end pick. If not, give me Eberle? Give me something.
  13. I'm right there with you Potato. I'm no Milbury fan, but much of what he was pointing out I've seen a great deal from Myers. He's expendable in my opinion.
  14. Agreed. Also, Milbury mentioned Murray figuring out what to do with Myers, I agree with him. Move Myers, preferably to Edmonton for that high end first rounder. And even if that can't be done, take Ekblad no matter what. Although Myers appears some what better this season, I'm prepared to move beyond him to be honest with you.
  15. lol, I have to admit sizzle, your twitter account is some funny ###### man. Good stuff, really.
  16. touche' ;) Now now scknfla, don't hate on me to much today. It's still early in the week :P
  17. Our goaltender that battled Biron and Miller for the starting job here in Buffalo back in the early 2000's? So they were after a net minder, just not Miller ;)
  18. Ah yes, well since I've never heard of Mike Straw I have no idea where he's getting his information from. The backside of a box of Lucky Charms? Honestly that's what it sounds like.
  19. No, let me see if I've followed this correctly, and there are those here that can jump in and fill in any holes that I may have in the time line of events....... 1. A poster known to have a couple of pieces of information about the Sabres over the years posted in a thread on another forum (not to be named) the following: "Trade not announced during Stadium Series game, so not to distract from the event... Done by tomorrow" 2. From there it hit tweeter, I have no idia how but a twitt by the tweeter name of SabresFrontOffice sounded the horn about a deal, said it was Miller for Rattie, Halak and a 1st. 3. Tweeter verse Miller edition explodes, going into over drive. 4. I brought it to this boards attention because of the past calls this particular individual had made. 5. We got to watch as Bob McKenzie chimed in, people waiting for morning skate report, fans eyes peeled to tweeter and message boards. 6. In short, there may still be a trade, the original posting by rabi never gave a name, team or a time frame for announcement. He merely said what is quoted above. Does this about sum it up everyone?
  20. All I know is twitter is exploding with question on Miller. Questions to Bob McKenzie, Daren Dreger....etc.....etc..... That has to get back to the front offices of teams I would imagine. To what extent? I don't know, but I'm sure someone has to take note, no?
  21. I'm surprised there has been no morning skate report yet.
  22. This guy Mike Straw has stated he's learned the Wild made an offer, Murray is going to the Blues to see what they pony up. Here is that dudes write up on it, don't know this guy from adam though.......anyways........ http://fansided.com/2014/01/27/buffalo-sabres-close-trading-ryan-miller/#!twKXK
