Is Don Granato the best coach the Sabres have had since Lindy Ruff?
Crusader1969 replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
looking back, I know last year was tough but being in the Division of Death has greatly benefitted the Sabres. Night in and night out you had to bring your A game, play physical and with speed in order not to be skated out of the rink by team like the Islanders, Penguins, Bruins... -
Why limit yourself to a Centre? Take the best available....well maybe not a LHD. Plus, you will probably get a deal for Eichel that will include a center Myself, I think the odds on favorite right now is Vegas and that deal should include Krebs.

That being said , I have no issue with the trade not happening until the deadline or the off season Maybe a team like the Knights have a disappointing season and finish out of the playoffs. After a bad season that’s when teams may be tempted to up their offer plus the Sabres will know where the first round pick will land. A top 10 pick has exponentially more value than say the 25th pick
-
If the Knights are desperate for a help now, thinking Jak isn’t the answer though, I do believe it’s the most likely landing spot for him

GDT: The Wiley Coyotes 1pm Puck Drop. Harvest Festival.

Promised myself I wouldn’t look at the standings this year and stay away from Tankathon. I just want to be entertained when I watch them play. Win or lose. They are 2 for 2 on that count hope they can keep this up and we start to see the attendance rise. If they continue to play with this effort , I’ll be coming to support them - just need that damn border to open up! -
About to post the same thing. Have you seen him play? I haven’t unfortunately. Lambert seems to be missing most games now. I’m assuming he’s been a healthy scratch.

Do You Think The Sabres Top Brass Sees This As A “Tank” Season?

Carter Hutton has been the tank commander since Oct 2019 has a 7-33 record since then. -
GDT:The Season Opener! Montreal at Buffalo 10/14/21 7pm MSG, WGR550

Happy for the fans that went to the game. hopefully a few more will decide to check them out on Sat i like that they were loud. Better to have 8000 screaming fans than 16000 sitting on their hands. hopefully the team will continue to entertain and work like they did last night. if so, I know I’ll be going to a game or two once the border opens back up -

This is the 2006 leafs tank. One done with honour if you ask the Toronto media the goalie situation has bottom of the league written all over it Leafs had a decent goaltender (Reimer? Or Bernier ? Can’t remember who) but kept putting Garrett Sparks out to ensure a last place finish -
More Kemell today 2G 1A. No Lambert once again

game between Winnipeg and Regina last night featured 3 prominent prospects Savoie and Geekie both look to be top 10 in 2022 and Bedard #1 overall in 2023 Nice goal by Savoie. Both he and Geekie look impressive so far https://winnipegice.ca/video/watch-highlights-ice-5-pats-2 Cam Robinson on Twitter

Yes I definitely do not. -

Depends, if you play for the Leafs, then you will get immediate service. For the rest of us, we have to have extreme patience. My initial comment was a bit of tongue and cheek as the correct answer to the cost of surgery in Canada is socialism. That being said If i had to choose between paying $35k US for neck surgery or waiting a year, Id probably wait a year. -

More important question is “who are the forwards next season 22-23?”

I’m confused here in Burlington Ontario. Surgery has a price to it ?? -
Lambert was back in the line up today. No points again but his teammate Kemell scored. Lambert stuck on 1 point on the season. Kemell has 7 goals and 11 points in his 9 games.

You may hate that it but how would you explain the Anderson, Tokaraski and Dell are the goalies ?? They had plenty of cap space to sign someone better. -
