  1. Kinda is. They are already better than at least 3 forwards on the roster. If you only thought about the current season , they’d all be in Buffalo. teams have to think 3 to 5 years ahead. Player development, cap issues all have to be considered.
  2. Should Krebs, Quinn and JJ be on the Sabres right now ?
  3. You may already know this but Russian games are available on YouTube. Would have been great to see them play vs their peers though
  4. How long until Samuelsson is called up ?
  5. Good question about playing making abilities. maybe Liger has a more educated opinion than mine ?
  6. Jack Campbell after the leafs can’t afford to sign him
  7. Russia has released their world juniors camp roster. Unfortunately no Poltapov or Kisakov but Dman Novikov is listed (7th rd 2021)
  8. I would argue that Savoeis a huge part of that, he’s the driver of the bus. But you are right, it certainly doesn’t hurt being on a stacked team plus Wright missed a whole year to covid shutting down the OHL.
  9. 100%. Probably add Dahlin to this list.
  10. Do both Miller and Hagg get traded? Opening the door for Power and Samuelsson later this season would leave a very very Young D corps
  11. Do people still hate Tage? Just curious
  12. Ones better offensively and the other is better all round. IF there is one guy who can dethrone Wright for the 1 pick it’s Savoie IF we just looked at 21/22 season - who is the better player ? I would land on Savoie
  13. be a goldfish and forget about the previous games...advice straight from Ted Lasso. Enjoy game to game
  14. I've been thinking about this today. Am i crazy in thinking that I would rather Savoie than Wright? Wright is undoubtedly a better all round player than Savoie. Wright is a leader and will one day be captain of his NHL team. However, for the Sabres, I think they could use the guy with the most offensive upside and thats Savoie. My thinking is that Cozens checks a lot of the same boxes that Wright does, making Wright redundant to a point.
  15. I’m with you. I enjoyed the game. Sucks how it lost. I’m watching game to game. I’m honestly not sure of their record. I think they are slightly below .500 and maybe bottom 10? but I promised myself I wouldn’t look at the standings this season , nor tankathon. So far I’ve succeeded been entertained in all but 2 or 3 games , so I’m pretty happy about that the bottom line is they are severely overmatched against all but 4 or 5 teams in the league On top of that they have dealt with injuries to key guys
  16. Watched another Ice game Savoie is the most talented offensive player in the CHL IMHO In this clip 1:15. Vision 1:30. Shot 3:00 Hands
  17. Sometimes you just have to laugh 1 guy giving effort and 4 watching
  18. Might win this game by playing only the last 7 mins or so
  19. Murray in his office 🚨
  20. Are we more impressed by Quinn’s passing skills or shooting?
  21. Hayden needs to find a dance partner. Wake both me and the team up a bit
  22. For those of you too young to remember the Hasek years, this is exactly what it was like on a nightly basis except Instead of 1 fight there was 5
  23. instant reaction ... Seamus Casey is much lower here than I've seen elsewhere Him and Ty Nelson look to be the two RHD who could be available mid to late RD 1. I haven't heard too much about Jiricek but he is often ranked near the bottom of the lottery picks. Brad Lambert is the 2022 version of Raty as he falls down the rankings. I doubt he falls as far as Raty but its definitely something to keep an eye on. He still has to rank top 5 in dynamic offensive players but I prefer Cooley and Savoie. If the Sabres once again lean towards Russians - Gleb Trikozov is a name to watch He hasnt done to much at the VHL level but has 7 goals in 8 MHL games. Described as a smooth skating two way forward, competitive and plays with pace. Ruslan Gazizov is ranked 50th by Craig and isn't on that many ranking lists. Plays for the knights and from what little I've seen of him, Im going to guess that he will be appearing on more and more as the season continues.
  24. strong NO UPL stays in Rochester. Seems he is finally finding his game. His long term development is way more important than the next stretch for the Sabres. Same for Quinn, Krebs and JJ Keep them in the minors till after the break. Samuelsson is the only one who I would want to see promoted at this time. Hard to believe he was on the waiver wire about a year ago.
