I hope UPK plays all the remaining games (unless that would burn a year of an ELC or something). There's zero reason to have Tokarski start any remaining games.

The problem was Jbot signed Hutton to a 3 year deal. He was untradeable and the contract was up at the end of this year. I can kind of understand why Adams didn't do anythign this year (banking on increased offense) but things obviously went off the rails. Is there a more tragic combination than that of Jason Bottril and the St. Louis Blues?

If it comes down to this then I'm exposing Girgensons and Thompson. We know exactly what to expect out of Girgensons, he's not developing any further and is overpaid at 2.2 M Thompson is such an underwhelming player to watch, I wouldn't miss him and losing him in the expansion draft for nothing would really put the final level of icing on the cake that was the ROR trade. Asplund has 6 goals in 21 games, that's ~24 goals over the course of a normal season. I know his minutes will decrease next year with a healthy Eichel but I still think Asplund is improving. There's no way I'd expose him. From the little I've seen of Bjork he always seems like the fastest guy on the ice and I'd rather have his speed over Thompson ability to be...tall? If I'm a Kraaken and I had to choose between Girgensons and Thompson I'd say, "What D do you have to offer?"

There was a stretch of 10 games this season where Okposo was a point-per-game player. My advanced statistical model predicts he will start producing even more as he gets older and more broken.

Cozens is going to be an excellent 2nd line center on this team (I'm hoping Jack doesn't get traded). He'll have the benefit of anchoring a line after Eichel's and will draw the lesser shutdown coverage.

Yeah, If we land the #1 pick I'm not looking for another #1 LHD, I'd rather trade down a few spots to get help scoring goals and pick up another prospect / pick in the process.

Personally, I've always like playing hockey against good friends and always try to play a bit harder on them (without crossing any beer-league lines, of course). I feel like the Sabres v Hall will feel the same way. Go out of the way to compete a bit harder against him, maybe throw the body around without the intent to head hunt. I guarantee Lazar will be throwing his weight around.
