Lost in all the excitement is the fact that Matt mother ***** Ellis is making his NHL head coaching debut. Talk about grinding all the way to the top.

I had no idea power was that big, he's still going to have to grow into his body since he's joining the league as a kid and will be easily muscled off the puck. Joker and Dahlin certainly don't play a "big game" to my eye. The point I was tryign to convey is that I don't see a spot for Bryson on the team next year. Joker, Dahlin, Power, Samuelsson, and then two offeseaon acquisitions from FA or trades whom I hope will be upgrades over Byrson. Maybe he and Fitzgerald duke it out for the 7th spot.

Between joker, dahlin and power we won't need another undersized, puck moving defense. We need big dudes who play defensively sound and can clear bodies out of the crease.

We traded future considerations for Subban & Butcher, there is very little chance we will be able to flip them for anything at the deadline, unless their play drastically improves. I can potentially see Miller, Eakin and Psysk flipped for a low draft pick to provide defensive depth insurance for teams looking to make a push. All the other JAGs that can barely squeak by on one of the worst teams in the league won't exactly be in-demand assets. I wonder if GMKA gets the greenlight to essentially trade cap-space for draft capital (we take on a bad/bloated contract from a team which opens up cap space so they can make another move to make the money fit?). I expect this to be a very uneventful deadline for the Sabres.

I've had the same problem and am actually considering buying a ***** radio so I can listen to broadcasts locally (because when I ask Alexa it plays out of market programming)
