Is Chad or Lehner injured or has Jbots lost faith in our goalies?

Whatever the severity of his injury I think they should shut him down for the rest of the season. If he gets to a point where he's healthy enough to come back for the last 10 games why risk another injury so close to the last one when there's nothing to play for.

The beard is the source of his power.

Horrible to read the Okposo has another concussion. I wonder who gets called up in his place. At this point we have 2 maybe 3 actual NHL forwards on this team. Should bode well against Vegas.

At the time the tank was the lowest point for me. Apparently when you hit rock bottom you max out your credit card on a jack-hammer and then max out your other card on extension cords so you can keep drilling deeper and deeper. I can't see this team winning more than 5 games in the remaining 15 and I'm hoping they sweep Toronto.

I'd like to add that I am so disappointed with this team/franchise where I've reached the point of embracing a tank for the 2nd time in 4 years. Middle fingers everywhere!

This is a big game that will have monumental ramifications on the CHL standings (is that thread still active?). I'll come out an say it: I want the team to lose tonight. We have to work under the assumption that the lottery odds will bump us 3 spots down the list and I want to draft no later than 4th. Must lose boys! (I'm fully expecting them to win in some act of cosmic spite).

With Johnson in net tonight against his old team I'm expecting we see Lehner in net tomorrow night against his old team. This is some 4-D Chess tanking strategy here, let Johnson get the win tonight, pulling us within 1 of Ottawa and then let Lehner lay an egg so Ottawa gets those points back.

I think it's clear Lehner is not going to be. Think about it, he's the core of the stink that has shaped up to be GMTM's legacy. Lehner is the embodiment of everything Murray did wrong during the re-build: Overpaying for overvalued assets. One of the greatest mysteries I see posted about on this board is the mythical "trade Lehner" theory. He is valueless. Maybe I'm biased because he's my least favorite Sabre goalie I've ever seen play but I can't wait until he's done.

This is so true. Being where we are in the standings pretty much every game we play is a "trap" game for opponents. We're in the dog days of the season and I believe teams see the Sabres in the basement and are thinking "this will be an easy win", and probably don't prepare as much as they should. Same thing applies for other basement teams. Coyotes are 6-4 in their last 10.

The only difference is that they have 3 cups to show for it.

I don't understand the logic behind that 3rd line but who am I to question it?

At least Okposo is back. Per hamilton lines look like: 67 - 90 - 23 21 - 28 - 13 20 - 22 - 29 17 - 10 - 25 Looking forward to see Baptiste on a scoring line. Him and Girgs should theoretically be able to dig in the corners and then find Okposo. Lehner in net.

Winning tonight would be a 3 game winning streak. This team seems to be incapable of those. I predict a loss.

There is less than 0% chance that Tavares will sign here. (IF) He's leaving Long Island because the organization is a mess and he wants to compete for a Stanley Cup, not join up a team whose restarting their 2nd rebuild after floundering in the basement of the standings for 1/2 of his career.

There was an understanding between Murray and Antipin that they'd sign him once his contract was up in the KHL and FA opened for the NHL. Murray did the legwork but Botteril pulled the trigger. If Jbots didn't want him then he would not have signed him, plain and simple.

It's not out of the realm of possibility for a team to turn it around in the off-season and that's the hope I need to cling to (because why else would I be here?). Before the team gets better JBOTs needs to get rid of at least 3 or 4 of the following players Moulson, Pommenville, Bogo, Larsson & Girgensons, the first three b/c of their contracts and the Larsson and Girgs because they've been here long enough for the suckitude to seep in deep and are unsalvagable on this team.

Glad to see Baptiste off the 4th line...hopefully he uses opportunity to shine. What is our #2 PP unit going to look like? Woof.

Because whoever needed capable left wingers? At this moment in time, what's our LW depth? How does it compare to the tank team? On a serious note, congrats to the Okposo family.
