    McDermott on Tyrod on the @JohnMurphyShow: "High character, great work ethic, toughness, skill set...best move for the Bills at this time." The "at this time" worries me a bit ... I need to see the numbers, but I don't understand why Tyrod would agree to the deal with him being the #1 QB on the open market.

    Thanks but I'm don't think Julien would do a lot better. Our leading scorer is 71st in the league ... we have one upper echelon d-man ... mediocre goaltending. I'm not even sure that Scotty Bowman could get this team to the playoffs.

    Going to Buff State and living on Elmwood at the time. IIRC, my roommates and I closed the Buff State pub on Friday and spent the night in one of the dorms.

    Romo would only be playing for a SB at this point and IMO, he doesn't stand a chance with any of the aforementioned teams. So maybe he just fades off into the sunset and Jerry hires him into the Cowboys front office.

    I think Denver having the #1 defense helped out a bit. Question is could Romo stay healthy and why would he come here when he could go to Houston, possibly Arizona, the Rams, or even the Chargers should Rivers get traded.

    Wow, just what we need ... a D1 college coach wth no NFL OC experience. Thousands of coaches that have coached in the NFL that currently aren't ? I admit there are more than 4 that can do the job, but how many can do the job well ?
