Not exactly what I want. I want a decision. I just don't like Goaltender by committee. Play 25-50% of the season as an audition, and the last 40 games with a clear starter, backup gets to play a second game in a row if he pitches a shutout.

If we trade miller, this is what I'd like to see, with Enroth and Goalie X (Leggio would do, he's certainly earned at least a look, or Hacket, or someone else) splitting for 20 games 2 on 2 off then a decision is made.

PA has a long history of tearing down Buffalo Sabres ownership. It was only a matter of time before PA and his Deluminati henchmen moved on the TP.

Going to the Sabres Game with my little boy. I don't care where they are in the standings, or what the "meaning" of the game is. Taking your little kids to an NHL game is F'n Fantastic.

A win would not be completely useless. I'm bringing my 5-year-old son to the game. It's his third game of the year, and he has yet to see a win. He loves Steve Ott, and wants to see him score a goal. While you're hoping the Sabres lose tonight, I want you to picture a 5-year-old boy who just wants to see his favorite team win. /guilttrip

My Analysis: Enroth is playing out of his mind right now, but it's all on a reaction basis. He's just a split second loss in athleticism away from having 2 wins and a .850 sv% this year. He is not fundamentally sound, but can more than make up for it with acrobatics. He's not Hasek. It won't last, he needs to be in better position. If I can get good return for Miller (2 first round picks plus a second, or equivalent) I'm looking more at giving Leggio a shot next to Enroth, and the loser after 20 games goes to the Amerks and I bring Hackett up to be the hovering backup who wants your job. If I trade miller I expect it to cost me 5 wins next year, and I'm not opposed to that if the return is right.

All I'm saying is that the history says Miller had 18 total starts in the NHL before he was named the #1 guy. And he was ready. It was the right call. Enroth is not ready.

Ryan Miller is the reason we suck. 2008-today, he is the reason we haven'y had a top 5 draft pick. By all accounts, looking at the rosters, we should have had 2 or 3 in that time. But no. Ryan had to ruin everything.

Wrong... The only reason Marty got more than 15 starts that year was because Ryan missed 6 weeks with a broken thumb. Miller had started 10 straight games to open the season prior to the injury, and Marty only had one instance of consecutive starts when Miller was healthy. Marty was the one who earned his chance to compete by winning 13 straight starts with Miller out.

Here's a good litmus test for if you simply want to get rid of miller or not. If the Sabres announce miller signed a 5 year contract with a $5M cap hit, how would you feel?

Eddie, Marcus, Kathryn, Steve L., Steve R, and Robert... at least...there may have been others.
