  1. yes, but as a troll, you're certain to love it.
  2. I am not a tablet guy. I just can't get used to the touchscreen keyboards. So this really replaces what would be my tablet, rather than replacing my computer. I'm an engineer, and I need a ridiculously powerful machine to do my work. This makes that laptop too heavy to haul around unless absolutely necessary. The Chromebook is a nice compromise for me. Power like a tablet in laptop form. Also, I'm an android guy, so this sync's nicely with my phone. I'll make an update in a couple weeks once i figure out the ins and outs of my new toy.
  3. Just got a Chromebook as an early Father's Day present. It's pretty awesome so far.
  4. FACT: I factored Wegmans in when I made the decision to move back to NY from Ohio.
  5. Tim Tebow is awesome. Not the man, the phenomenon. Just awesome.
  6. Let the games begin.
  7. I met my wife at 8, started dating at 15, married at 22, now 30 with 3 kids. Between her, my brother, and college roommates, I've never had my own room in my entire life.
  8. They have a Wheat Whiskey out right now. Maybe I'll try that to get me through...
  9. WTF: http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/local_news/article/Jury-acquits-escort-shooter-4581027.php
  10. Every independent review of it has been outstanding, and they claim to have been working on it for years, they (the distillery) are also 4 years old now, which is the age of most entry level bourbons, I'm guessing that this is their first entry into the big boy club and I am excited. I also love wheated bourbons. so there's that.
  11. I am ridiculously excited to try Finger Lakes Distilling's McKenzie Wheated Bourbon. Can't come out soon enough. Also, Craft Bourbon is apparently on the rise. This is an exceedingly good thing: http://digital.copcomm.com/i/133302/24
  12. Are they still hiring?
  13. There but for our small market woes...
  14. My understanding is that it is not so much the concern for Richard's play, but the structure of the contract as it relates to the new CBA. He has three $1M seasons to finish the contract from 2017-2020. I don't think he intended to ever play those years when he'll be nearing age 40. With the new CBA and the "Cap Advantage Recapture" they would be on the hook for massive cap hits if he retired (on the order of $6M/year). If they don't buy him out this summer, they risk him being injured next summer, and missing the Amnesty window.
  15. The generosity to help my Nephew's family with the medical bills has been truly amazing. Especially from this community. Yesterday was absolute proof that this place is a cut above the rest of the internet, it's more than just a message board. These are not just words we say to stroke our collective ego. It manifests in so much action. I lack the writing skills to accurately reflect how grateful I am for everyone's support. My sincerest thanks. You guys are all F'N Fantastic.
  16. This is true for nearly everything as even the moderate inflation we've seen has destroyed the real value of our stagnant wages.
  17. Brad Richards to be bought out? really?
  18. My point was that the price increases were less in the past decade than they were in the decade prior to that. Still outpacing inflation, but more moderately under OSP and TP than under the Rigas and the Knox ownerships.
  19. 9 years from 1995-2004: 200% rise in prices. 9 years from 2004-2013: 73% rise in prices. adjusting for inflation: 9 years from 1995-2004: 142% rise in real prices. 9 years from 2004-2013: 44% rise in prices.
  20. Performance and ticket prices are not related in any sport. See the Chicago Cubs. http://www.kshb.com/dpp/sports/baseball/mlb-average-ticket-price--fan-cost-index-for-all-30-baseball-teams
  21. I don't know if this is an appropriate venue, and the Mods shouldn't feel bad if they deem it appropriate to remove this post, but the parents have minimal health insurance, and have racked up some significant expenses. The link below is for a crowd sourcing fundraiser that my wife just set up to help defray those expenses. If you feel so inspired, donations would be greatly appreciated. https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/lff2/team-luca
  22. You can include Lackawanna to provide a semblance of regionalism.
  23. Be sure to use median income for the City of Buffalo, not the entire region, it will make your numbers much more closely aligned with your narrative.
  24. EVERY THREAD WAS CREATED FOR THIS. IF WE WANT TO TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE, WE'LL JUST DRILL ANOTHER WELL.
