Dwight King for a 4th in 2018. So based on recent deals Gionta should be worth a 3rd, Kulikov at least a 3rd, and Franson...a 4th or 5th? Obviously could be more involved than that with more assets. I am not all that excited about those valuations but might as well get something....right Tim?!?!?

Possible. But he may also look at Stamkos, Drouin, Hedman, etc vs. Toronto's crew and figure within the timeframe of his career he'd just as soon take his chances in Tampa and enjoy the weather and no state income tax.

I checked the other day and Matthews and Eichel were both on 72 point season paces (at 82 games) this year. Now of course it's Matthews 1st year and Jacks's 2nd. Byslma vs. Babcock, etc. etc. Matthews has more goals /fewer assists but his shooting % was quite high and Jack's is fairly low. Those may regress to the mean a bit and at least this year Jack is generating 0.5 more shots per game than Matthews. So I think it's pretty close and too early to say who is better.

Just got home from a Blind Boys of Alabama concert. Highly recommended!

Not to be like a local Chamber of Commerce or anything but consider Corning, NY. 2.5-3 hours from Buffalo and lots to do for a 1 day visit. (Edit: Just noticed Fairport below your avatar...even closer) May 19-20 is one week before GlassFest which is pretty fun. http://www.gafferdistrict.com/glassfest But other weekends you can visit the Corning Museum of Glass which is pretty great as well as the Rockwell Art Musuem which is a small but nice one.
