  1. I don't think anything near a potential 1st line center comes back in a deal at the deadline
  2. Chicago has made all the right moves and should be pretty legit this year.
  3. Sabres with or without Eichel will miss playoffs for next 3 years and both my kids will be in college. At this point, I hope they say no to any trade and make him rot on the sidelines...And this is coming from someone with season tickets.
  4. It's ok, our starting goalie will be ready in only 4 short years.
  5. The only people who think that this guy is a once-in-a-lifetime talent are the people that live in this city. Look at all of these other general managers who won't even give up a potential line one Center for this Punk. 4 pieces? Good luck..get a 2nd line center with great leadership, a 1st rounder in 22, and a nice 3rd line role player.
  6. Not sure what the Danault price is going to be but he is EXACTLY what this team needs.....hopefully cost is not outrageous
  7. I hope there are at least 3 really high end players in the draft next year because there is no chance in hell they won't be one of 3 worst teams again
  8. I would switch teams in a heartbeat, especially if you are in that division. Buffalo has zero chance to Crack top 3 in the next 4 years and a small chance to get wild card before a couple years.
  9. It only took me until I was 51 but I am finally VERY interested in history. I have been watching a lot on PBS recently on the Victorian Age with railroads and Royal Navy. Now that I have the bug, I would love to start off with some all encompassing American history books. I have A LOT to brush up on so any suggestions that cover periods of time from 1700s - 1940s would be welcomed.
  10. He will never be Captain again...but that color scheme fits him perfectly.
  11. I would love him to go to Boston so I can despise him even more. Shiity attitudes and quitters don't usually end up on such a solid organization though. I can't wait to get his stench out of here...elite player or not, he's not a fit
  12. This may have been mentioned already but most teams in the trade talks agree with the Sabres on how to treat the injury. Looks like Jack is going to have to do some back-peddling on a lot of those press conference darts being subtly thrown in Buffalo's direction. He's going to have to come up with some new excuses as to why he wants to be traded now. We all knew it was never the medical reason anyway, but it should get interesting now. If he does not change his mind on surgery, there are going to be a lot fewer teams in trade discussion.
  13. What type of info are people expecting on Eichel? I mean seriously, the guy is getting traded and you won't hear a peep about it until the trade goes down. Even then, all you will hear until this coach is fired will be...it was better for both parties that a split was made and we wish Jack all the best.
  14. It would be interesting to know if anyone they interviewed even wanted the job
  15. This team will be better without Eichel. You know why? Because they SUCKED the whole time he was here. The players coming back will lift this team more than Eichel ever did.
  16. I would be shocked if Buffalo played an important game over the next 3 years
  17. Man, what I would give to have the atmosphere of Vegas in Buffalo just one more night
  18. My kids are 14 and 15 years old. It's really sad that they never saw 1 good season of hockey and they always got so excited each October. With 4 years left until they go off to college, it looks like I will not experience 1 single season of excitement with them in the stands. THIS is the number one reason why I have become so bitter towards this team...
  19. Loving Montreal, all fight and effort. It makes me hate our team that much more...
  20. Zero chance he even answered our phone call...
  21. It was not a great situation here but Eichel has been a little Bit** for quite some time. This has been going on with players and coaches with him dating back years. I could not care less if you believe me or not, and I won't repeat it either. There is barely anyone left in that organization from the top down that wants him around the kids. I am sure he will fix his attitude (and other issues) at his next landing spot, but he is nothing but toxic in this organization.
  22. I can't wait until his first visit back to Buffalo. I am confident that it will be the most amount of boos an opposing player has ever heard. In this case, I think he deserves every single one of them...good riddance. Follow the path of the Islanders and become more of a team after the golden child is gone.
  23. If I were you, I would prepare to see something just like this from whatever team he goes to. A #1 center will never come back in the return so at best, they will get a good #2 C, a top winger and a 3rd piece that everyone is really going to hate.
  24. See ya next year Scheiffle...punkasbitch
