This is most likely true, unfortunately. It took over 3 months, but I believe the top 8 spots are finally set and it’s looking up at Pittsburgh the rest of the way. it’s painful for me to acknowledge but it’s gonna take 1 final offseason to get over the hump.

I would not give away 1 prospect, not one. This would strictly be a rental because I honestly don't think the Blues are going to sign him next year. Casey, a 3rd and 1 more player would probably get it done....unless a contender came in a blew St Louis away. The Blues are on the outside looking in and I don't see that changing over the next several weeks.

I really think this is all the Sabres need before the trade deadline to not only reach the 8 spot, but to potentially do some damage once they are in there. The great thing is that we are not looking for a top D man or a 1st or 2nd line center. The needs this team has right now are very, very achievable. These guys are dead last in the NHL on faceoffs and it is REALLY costing them on the penalty kill (along with clearing some bodies from in front of the net). If the Blues are out of the playoff race by the deadline, I could for sure see them offering up O'Reilly. What would it take to make that happen? I think the bad blood with this organization has washed away from other members departing and it could be the perfect fit. As far the Dmen, any names in mind that would fit this description?

I don’t mind the loss so much but I really thought those types of games were no longer possible. A nice goal for the rest of the season would be to not lose two in a row.

So much talent on this team….I mean, wow

The last month of hockey has been so enjoyable, and admittedly quite surprising. I have not been that fired up to see a win in quite some time and when the overtime shot went in against Boston, it felt like… Let’s go full tilt and get this team into the playoffs. I think I have found the balance in my posting ability and just need to stay out of the Gameday threads until the game is over. This team is so freaking fun to watch again and emotions are higher than ever for this guy. That’s a good thing.
