Every single game is just so painful, why?

I have to believe that Calgary fans must feel awful seeing that they just can't seem to get over the hump. What in the world happened to them from just a couple years ago? I thought they were turning into a powerhouse after all those years of ineptitude...and then, poof.

My only wish the rest of the season is to be within striking distance by the time Boston comes to town on Sunday. It will be the last game of the year I can go with my kids and really want it to mean something in the standings.

The day after....eeash. Playoffs are obviously done but more disturbing is that I really don't even know who this team is anymore. Are they years away? Is our coach out the door? Can our defense and goaltending really be this bad? Can we please go back to last week as this feels exactly the same as last year.

Why do I feel like a bad father for sending my kids to the Rangers game on Saturday? I feel like I am ushering them to the slaughterhouse.

Every single team fighting for 8th is pulling stuff out of their a$$es to fight and claw for points (even if they are down by 3 or 4 goals in a game). Then you have this pathetic mess that just crumbles at the site of adversity. It is so so hard to believe that this still happening all these years later. Toronto, Tampa and Boston will all finish ahead of them next year so what in the world could possibly make people think playoffs next year? Florida and Ottawa will most assuredly finish ahead of them as well so it will be the battle of Detroit, Buffalo and Montreal to see which rebuild is further ahead.

How hilarious is it that the crowd was chanting we want 11 at the end, just incredible.
