I think people are confusing, taking teams lightly with the Sabres talent, or lack there of. It looks to me like they will be in a battle every night trying to hover around the eight spot. Tonight will be no different.

Yes, I would overpay or make a lopsided trade. Levi is not even close to being a starting goalie in the NHL and I would be shocked if he was ready next year. Reimer is not going to be the guy to get those back-to-back victories they will need to hover around 8th place.

I don’t understand why Buffalo can’t sign a legit backup. It’s going to be the difference between eighth spot and no playoffs at all.

3 out of 6 points will just drop them even lower lower in the standings. Win 2 out of 3 or don't come home at all. Maybe someday teams will actually look at Buffalo and say that we are playing well.

I will believe it when I see it. If they are such garbage, though, why are they still ahead of us? If Buffalo can’t pull ahead of them in the standings, it is more of an indictment on us than it is them.

If indeed they fall back this year, chances are that they won't be down for long.

That is what good teams do before it is too late. And here the Sabres refuse to fire the worst GM in hockey as they melt into nothing once again.

I think that the problem is that bad teams have goalies that steal games and we just don’t have one of those.
