Players can care all they want, they are still completely void of talent.

Is it the GM? Adams is awful but look at all the failures before him. Is it the Coach? Ruff is no longer built for this. His fire has gone, and nobody else wanted him after the NJ firing. Is it the owner? I say yes, definitively. He never had a true hockey guy here to find the proper GM who in turn found the right players and coach Is it the players? What happened to the offense from 2 years ago? Where did all the scoring go? Do players like Power and Dahlin go from sure-fire superstars to being good players that never reach their potential? Is it the assistant coaches? How the heck can a powerplay be this bad two years in a row? Now the penalty kill is disgusting to watch. How can a defense be THIS bad??? Is it goaltending? I don't see anything special in Levi or UPL. Bottom line is that every phase of this organizations sucks and I see no solutions in sight. Go Bills!!!!!!! We have the number one QBeast on the planet 🙂

There was a topic a while ago about the lowest point in Saber’s history. I would undoubtably say that we are in it and each day it will get worse. What makes it so sad is that there really is no more hope anymore. The future does not exist with this organization.

I never thought I would be back to cheering for losses. I hope this team sees more pain than you could possibly imagine over the next four months.

It won't matter, this organization has sunk below what the Coyotes had been in Arizona. The NHL does not exist in Buffalo and the only people going to games will be families taking advantage of the dirt cheap prices on StubHub. I'm serious, I actually think that hockey is dying here and may never come back. It will be like the Bandits where families can go out for a sports night once in a while on the cheap. It's hard to imagine that this has actually happened to a once great NHL fanbase. Terry Pegula was the death of this organization and has turned this city into a ONE team town (see what I did there). Farewell Sabres, I wish I could say it was a fun ride, but I would have to go back 20 years ago for that to be true.

My kids were home for Thanksgiving and they were talking about how they could not wait to go to a Sabres game over Christmas break. I just asked them which game they wanted to go to and they declined the offer. This is exactly what breaks my heart and pisses me off so much. This organization has extinguished that light and I don’t see it coming back. Thanks for nothing….

Since they are not making the playoffs, I honestly don't care if they lose the next 50 games. I won't watch a full game again until they are within 2 points of 8th and that is not happening this year. Let's just hope the Bills take us to February.

This is all you really need to know. Who knows how many years all of these pics will set us back, but I don’t see playoffs for at least a minimum of two more years after this one.

I have finally resided to the fact that they just are not good. The high drafted players are not good, and they are not getting better. It is what it is and that is the hardest part to accept. There is nothing to look forward to and I can't even imagine what next year will look like as well. Power's confidence will only get lower and I fear that more broken players will be discarded at their low points. Will anyone have an answer to drag them out of this pit? I really don't think so after seeing that first period and the continuous lack of urgency.

The thing that stinks is that all they had to do was not absolutely throw up all over themselves and they would be in pretty good position. 7 game losing streak, I mean, come on, just don’t suck.

And everything that goes along with it. I could go on forever about this but the point is, I just miss all of it. My kids are die-hards and they have never been able to experience any of it. They are both in college now and it's a real shame the darkest times took place when they were old enough to care. I miss the crowd, the energy of the city, the games that actually mean something on TV, and the sport in general. I know most view me as some pesemist, but that could not be further from the truth. I gave up seasons this year after 10 years and I have been a loyal fan since I was about 10 years old in 1980. I am still one of their most passionate fans and my frustration probably comes across the wrong way (which is why I try not to post much in game-day threads). Anyone on this board most likely feels the same way and we all deserve sooooo much more. Give us a team that fights for wins each night, even if they lose. It's just sucks that this city is BEGGING for a team that represents our passion and it's not even close. I love the original unis so much, but the Goatheads are so lovely because it represents that badass team that opponents just HATED playing. Until the Josh Allen led Bills, that Goathead Cup team was my favorite Buffalo sports team of all-time (and I still haven't missed a home Bills game in 18 years.) I hope that we all get to experience it again someday, but the light at the end of the tunnel gets dimmer with each year that passes. I have a very fortunate life so it seems so selfish that this team bothers me so much. Go Bills, Go Sabes, and Go Buffalo.

Lindy Ruff was always the dumbest choice for HC of this team of idiots. He no longer has the fire and and drive to fix whatever is wrong with this team. It was a feel-good story for both sides and another idiotic hire by an organization that other coaches feel is diseased. No respected coach will ever come here so it's either hiring a retread that has no other offers or rolling the dice on a first timer. The truth of it is that there are no answers anymore. Every single night, it's something different that causes these mental midgets to fold. There is talent but they are broken. Every single player on the roster has a major weakness and together, it is just an awfully constructed team. The only hope is firing Kevin Adams and letting Lindy walk away with pay. Since that will never happen, there is no hope. There is literally NO HOPE. It's a terrible place to be and the fans get screwed the most. 14 freaking years, wow, it's almost impossible to be irrelevant that long.

The way you have to look at it and not be frustrated is that it didn’t even matter if Buffalo hadwon tonight. This team is not good and they won’t be good at any point in the near future. even if they went on a 10 game win streak right now, it would not mean anything. You can clearly see that there is no talent on this team.

I actually can’t wait to hear the locker room comments, this will actually be fun I just wish they didn’t even make it to overtime, they don’t deserve a point.

I honestly cannot believe that anyone goes to pay to see this crap anymore. It boggles my mind.

There can be no doubt that Buffalo is the worst team in the NHL. They don’t even look like they know what they are doing anymore.
