    That is what I intend to do. I am just too positive of a person to have this team affect my mood the way it does. It's just easier to remove myself and not bring in the negativity right now.

    This was not a good game, other than the first period. This team is winless and the fact that fans standards and what to expect are so low is beyond disheartening. Comparing this crap Buffalo puts on the ice to Toronto makes me sick to my stomach. Another year my kids don't go to games is the kicker.....season over the same month it started. Enjoy the year and see you in '18.

    Still the same team that gives it everything they have for 1 period and then disappears. The talent just isn't there from top to bottom and I guess there is not enough you can do about that this year...

    It's painful to think that Eichel, O'Reilly and Sam are all boring. I pray the Bills take the right qb and receiver next year.

    Still 5 players away, minimum. Every time I see that lineup, I realize why this team is as bad as they are. I don't even know what to think of the defense but man, that offense is terrible.

    I totally agree on the role model part and have told my kids as much. I think there ARE plenty of kids out there who idolize these guys though. So far, I have had an ex Board of Director from the Sabres email me back as well as a VP within Pegula Sports. My frustration is gone after saying what I needed to say so we'll see how they go from here.

    Just posted this on facebook: This is the last ounce of energy I will be putting into the Sabres for a while and if this reaches even 1 player or member of the organization, I will be happy. Dear Buffalo Sabres, if I did not have kids, I would not even care about your total lack of effort and heart displayed on the ice each night. It was difficult enough to explain to my kids that the reason you were so bad for the last 4 years is that you were TRYING to lose for draft picks. It is even harder to explain to them now why the fans boo the players on their own team. Instead of masking the truth in a white lie, I plainly said that this group of players gave up and is doing everything opposite of what I coach to you on the soccer field. This group is a total disgrace to everyone who follows them and that expects a lot more out of you as athletes and as role models. At least O'Reilly admits to having no clue out there, how about the rest of you? I have said my peace and thanks again for the video footage that I can show my team exactly how not to be.

    I just can't believe I had more interest in the tank years than I do in this crap team. Never have I had such little respect for a group of players in all my Buffalo sports life. I have gone into numerous seasons with the Bills and Sabres knowing they would be bad but this is totally different. There are no answers for this team and they need to start trading players as soon as possible. The pipeline failed miserably and I don't see any other option than starting over. I can't believe I was so wrong about these players, just awful.

    None of this matters anyway because if the Sabres ever make the playoffs again They will never get past the Patriots, I mean the Leafs.

    The worst possible thing has happened, they were rebuilt the wrong way and i really don't care where they go from here. Talent with no heart equals who knows how many more years until playoffs
