Just a thought... So at the trade deadline, we trade players to a team that believes, said player, will help with a cup run... All teams do it. So basically, you're taking a player out of his "system" and thwarting then into a new "system" on a team that is about to enter the gauntlet, and they pay handsomely for this as well. I think that alone kinda of defies the system logic. These guys play hockey from grade school, there are only so many things you can do with a 5 man unit and the ice square footage. I don't think it's the system. You add this in with the same complaints and quotes from last year, even with some new players, and here we are. We are a lazy lazy team, we don't want to hit or be hit, we don't cycle, we have zero idea what possession is. It's on the players, the big guns.... I'm looking mostly at jack here. I give jbot this year and off season and housley next year, if we ship the black holes out and next year we take a step forward then yay.... A proper rebuild. But if there aren't many changes at the end of the season, I fear I may take next year off (I sat this but it won't happen) It's sad, I used to love watching the games, now, it's on in the background, I missed all the goals last night while I had it streaming on my phone, I didn't even go back to see the goals. Ummmmm, I hate to say it.... Phil isn't the answer. He played soft as a player, our team has played soft this year, and our D is just as bad, if not worse than last year. I know we can't fire a new guy so quickly and etc... But if we don't things around soon, I'd be OK bringing in a guy who will wreak havoc in the room

I thought the goals "could've" been saves, but they weren't on him.... A man not tied up in front, and a Sabre setting the perfect screen for the other team. The lack of pressure in the O zone is something this team has not been even ok at in years, I relate this to the O in football not having time of possession and the D getting worn down... Multiply this by the lack of talent on D and you really have a mess

I honestly am concerned about eichel, he's not looking good at all. Maybe even more concerning is the lack of retaliation of glendening, he scored on us and then cheap shotted our star.... Maybe I imagine coach showing that in intermission and saying "you know what you need to do" but no, nothing.... No fire, no fight, no talent... Brutal

I think you are taking my jab at them too seriously. I'm trying not to be angry at this team, so instead, they get stupid humor from me... That only seems fitting

I think SDS has lost the room, we don't have enough leadership on SS.... I blame it on not negotiating a new contract with ghost and letting him walk for nothing. SS is going to endure some "suffering"
