As a veteran and someone who works in public service, yeah I'm not 100% behind this whole thing..... It's more like an ambivalent Meh to me...... It sucks in general as I've met so many military/police and etc who are just straight up piles of feces and the integrity that comes with most public service jobs has diminished a lot. Now, that is not to be generally applied to everyone (damn I'm getting cynical) but in my experience it just feels that way. So yes, this was a rare case of something tragic, and I think that is the reason for the big gathering, but I also think a small gathering would have sufficed just as well.

Well, a road game on a back to back against a team with some skill. After a no hitter, will Robin Sparkles get the nod again on little rest? So some things I saw tonight. Antipin has his head on a swivel and man he's almost not noticeable, and for a D man that's a very good compliment. Pomers threw some body checks!!! And was very very aggressive on the go forcheck, I was surprised and pleased, he def does not look old.... Unlike Moulson. The Wings rarely had a chance to set up, buffalo played very sound in their end, which allowed lehner to do his job better, which he most certainly did. Our team needs to learn how to shoot, I saw countless missed shots, especially high, and several right into Howards ta-tas. Overall a boring game, but a lot of speed, hitting and tight checking eases the facet it was a 1-0 final. Wished the crowd was more into it, but I guess that should come with wins, We shall see. Jack was ticked after the penalty when he did the spin o Rama, I'd like to see mad Jack more, but it almost seems like it was tempur tantrum like and it almost seemed like it could easily get him outta his zone too. Maybe a touch of immaturity there. Alas, the Tim Hortons was not open after the game, wtf!!! I needed my double double to power through my drive back. It's a win, 2 points, a bit of optimism and a start, let's keep it rolling

Neuro ICU is no joke, we don't casually put people in there unless there is something legit going on, I have no clue at all what he had, but each day in the ICU technically takes 1 week of recovery time.... So it's hard to say, but something in my gut says he's not back to 100%

Watching this team is kind of fun, I had it streaming and I tried hard to not get emotionally invested, but after tyrod made that throw after the D gave up that TD I was sucked right back in... It's almost like you just knew shady was gonna score for that mistake he made, the team would have it no other way

They played a weak goalie and looked like crap most of the game, I'm excited we won and in such exciting fashion. But I'm not ready to be comfortable with them until I see a but better/consistent play, less mistakes, etc. We shall see, but I had the game on in the background on my phone at work, and I caught some of the goals, and I was very pleased with OT, I especially liked the sequence with jack just twirling around to facilitate a line change, that was magical.

Know what's sad, I got an email today about medical equipment and shortages because a lot of it was manufactured in Puerto Rico, and they don't expect any recourse until well into 2018, it raised a lot of questions, mainly how we will just switch to a few different solutions and act like nothing happened (and people still complained about it) I just don't like humanity sometimes
