Now I remember why I don’t make time to watch this team. Pittsburgh is controlling play.

Last season when Clifton lit up a Devil he was a marked man for a game. I wanna see them turn this ***** outward instead of doing it with guys they are comfortable around.

Yeah, I started a sentence with, he’s a Lindy type of player, but couldn’t really complete the thought so I deleted that part.

I like his game. Every team needs a Jordan Greenway. But let’s not get a hype train going. I wondered if he would fit in with all the speed merchants on the roster, but early returns seem that his game may be complementary.

“How” they responded in game is more the issue and concern. I’m good. Mostly because this team doesn’t occupy the emotional space it used to.

This put into words what I was thinking. No anger at losing a 2nd time. No passion over JJPs hit and injury. Just no passion. 14 seasons of this. This is what it looks like when you stop demanding a team wins. And now we see how incredibly difficult it is to get it back once it leaves.

Close friends are inland, but in the bullseye currently. They were in Fort Meyers for the hurricane that went through there a few years ago. Now they have this one coming at them. No storm surge concerns but TS level winds, rain and tornadoes sure are. I can’t imagine ever deciding that Fl is a good place to buy property.
