Highly doubt it Their WHL team is a complete wreck right now Savoie can easy receive a conditioning stint in Rochester Benson likely gets a few NHL games. At minimum they’d want the whole coaching issue in Seattle fixed before they send their last 2 1sts to play with them.

Seems to be a trend this preseason, they play slow and plodding the 1st 30min and then turn on the engines for the last 30. That's fine for preseason hockey but we'll need a 60 min effort once points are on the line.

As for your liquid cooling system, I'd suggest watching some tutorials on YouTube as well as peruse the many computer builder forums. Benson's defensive/puckless play is probably his most interesting attribute. Most small forwards are akin to Kane or Skinner but Benson is more akin to Marner in that regard. That pick at center ice with the pop up is a very heady way to advance the puck from a flat footed position.

I'd say 10, Chicago and Philly are likely happy with their guys too

His leadership and present value is worth his present contract. He'll be making 4mil per for his 33,34,35,and 36 year old seasons. His style of play isn't exactly known for longevity and continued health. The ouch is that this is a 4 year extension, so he's now locked in for 5 years which generally only contains loss of ability.

Not really, we play 7 preseason games and don't plan to play our starters in all 7 so you need bodies. There could also be gamesmanship in Adams intending to dump all his AHL forwards at once when everyone else does to deter claims.

Solid game, definite rust but grew as the game went on. Benson has all the talent he needs to be an NHLer but is probably akin to Reinhart in being a guy who might get a few games but play in the WHL with specific goals in mind.

If Benson keeps playing this well as well as Seattle doesn’t get a better coach the Sabres might give him a few games before sending him back

Especially after telling us we like the moving ads on the boards and that they are somehow making the game easier to watch. That, and about 15 minutes prior to typing this I literally happened to see something about the new woman's hockey league and it put me in a sour state of mind. (Ticked off they dropped Buffalo's team)

It’s more the motive than actuality; you give an inch they’ll take a mile. Remove fighting due to injury potential then they’ll cage all the masks, then you remove body checking, then actively bring women into the league since there would be no rule differences. While I doubt this is some kind of overarching plot behind the scenes; I wouldn’t put it past some of the PR and marketing gurus up top. Secondly, fighting allows for some rage to subside inside a game and unlike JohnC, I’m not at all interested in calling even more penalties and cracking down hard on everything. I don’t want 7 PPs a game purely due to slashes between whistles or ejections left and right. Ideally I want 5v5 hockey with the full 18 skaters every game. Additionally I see no reason to remove the ability to fight seeing as it rarely occurs. We had 4 I think last year; that’s 1 every 20.5 games. When is the last time we saw a legit brawl? I’m not exactly pro-fighting, I don’t want it every game but I am very much anti-no fighting.
