Apparently the Rangers want to OS Peterka but they don’t have anywhere near a decent contract they can offer. 5x7mil is like their max until reaching about 7x9mil. 7x9mil would mean the 12th pick goes to Pittsburgh and then 26, 27, 28, 29 1sts would be our compensation. At 5x7mil we can easily match and skip to the bank.

If they honestly OS the 4 1sts level I’d let him go and be happy for Peterka. He’s a great player but he’s certainly nowhere near 11.7mil per. i also believe 8x9mil would put him at that level too. No to the first part, I ain’t trading Helenius for either Rakell or Rust; neither inspire me in any manner. 1 is a career Crosby line mate and the other was a mediocre player in Anaheim before playing with Crosby/Malkin. Pretty on the nose to be honest, both are genuine freaks of nature who seem blocked from true glory by a small number of opponents. As for being a historically great player, Allen has 65 rushing TDs so far in his career. He is 3rd in Active Players behind Ezekiel Elliott with 74 and Derrick Henry with 106. 35 more in his career and he'd be only 1 of 10 NFL players to ever score 100 Rushing TDs.
