  1. I certainly wouldn’t
  2. K Miller isn’t good; I’ll yell it from the tallest building if I must. Chad D compared him to Muel saying he’s just going to be a higher paid Muel. Plus based on Rangers fans history; they aren’t exactly fond of his performance. Plus they actually are willing to trade him which obviously is a reason not to acquire him. After all anything of any value is off limits to Ranger Fans As mentioned, Cirelli’s NTC kicks in July 1st I have no interest in trading a Top 6 winger with potential for a goalie coming off a serious injury with 1 year left on his deal.
  3. If anything I’d lay it on a scale by banning it up to Juniors then just tweak stuff to give a 10 min misconduct in Juniors to Fighting Majors. I don’t want kids fighting but once you reach pro hockey it should be enshrined as a part of the sport.
  4. Can't stand the writer either; he's some holier-than-thou male feminist who hates hockey and everything remotely considered "masculine" He's the reporter who ceaselessly updates on the whole WJC Scandal trial and yet always has an overt bias take of guilty until proven innocent Sings the praises about the PWHL while demonizing the NHL and CHL And you only ever hear him peep up when he can stand on a soapbox and tell everyone that physicality in hockey is evil and not inclusive.
  5. If that would be all it took I'd be on it in a heartbeat and I'm not even a huge Dobson fan or of his 9mil cap hit. He's a dynamic player I'd push for more from SJS but eh?
  6. I say no, all banning it at lower levels does is eventually ban it at the pro level via players. It's slowly being phased out naturally; but I'll always be against banning it outright. Once fighting is banned they'll go after hitting using the same concussion reasoning and then we have Icecapades with sticks
  7. It's heavily hedged to the fact he hasn't played in two years and may never return to form or need to retire again. That being said, I never knew you could structure a contract with that much bonus potential. 2 mil cap hit that can balloon as high as 7mil.
  8. Miller is just Ristolainen 2.0 and I just don't trust Cuylle; he reminds me too much of Tanner Jeannot
  9. I wouldn't trade him to Ottawa barring Tkachuk being in the return; no interest in anything from NYR, Pittsburgh, Philly, Isles or aiding Boston. Dallas might see some interest in Peterka as they could bridge him at 6mil
  10. Before anything, I’d need to know Robertson’s ask for his contract. I’m not entertaining a asset laden trade for a 1 year rental or a rent with another trade at the deadline. The contract must be manageable and not interfere with Tuch re-signing.
  11. Partly that was to trade away Muel with it

  13. The issue with Necas is he didn't want to sign here before and he's a UFA at year's end.
  14. No thx, no interest in trading him to Ottawa and letting him light up with his fellow German in Stutzle
  15. No interest in Petersson with his contract and potential head space issues.
  16. Would rather just buy out Muel than eat Nurse’s contract
  17. Apparently the Rangers want to OS Peterka but they don’t have anywhere near a decent contract they can offer. 5x7mil is like their max until reaching about 7x9mil. 7x9mil would mean the 12th pick goes to Pittsburgh and then 26, 27, 28, 29 1sts would be our compensation. At 5x7mil we can easily match and skip to the bank.
  18. If they honestly OS the 4 1sts level I’d let him go and be happy for Peterka. He’s a great player but he’s certainly nowhere near 11.7mil per. i also believe 8x9mil would put him at that level too. I’d be saddened but accept 4 1sts because 8x9mil isn’t exactly a number we can afford next season. Did they change the whole 5 year thing? Where 6/7 year deals would have their total divided by 5 for compensation levels.
  19. No to the first part, I ain’t trading Helenius for either Rakell or Rust; neither inspire me in any manner. 1 is a career Crosby line mate and the other was a mediocre player in Anaheim before playing with Crosby/Malkin. To the 2nd sure, maybe we can get to 5x8mil or 6x9mil with some deferred money to lower the cap hit.
  20. They'd have to pay him quite over the top
  21. A lot of it comes from cap acrobatics trying to fit the large contracts with the 6mil Skinner dead cap. Murphy is an ok player, neither great nor bad but is more of a defensively skewed style player.
  22. https://puckgm.puckpedia.com/rosters/644297 How about Chicago as a destination
  23. My guess was Ferraro + DAL's 1st and a 4th in '26 for Byram https://puckgm.puckpedia.com/rosters/641379
  24. Pretty on the nose to be honest, both are genuine freaks of nature who seem blocked from true glory by a small number of opponents. As for being a historically great player, Allen has 65 rushing TDs so far in his career. He is 3rd in Active Players behind Ezekiel Elliott with 74 and Derrick Henry with 106. 35 more in his career and he'd be only 1 of 10 NFL players to ever score 100 Rushing TDs.
