  1. Jeannot is not worth anywhere near that, he has had 8 goals and 10 assists in 75 games with Tampa. A -16 +/- which is kind of weird since he had a positive Relative Corsi and Fenwick this past season. Comparatively he's a less offensive and slightly better defensive Girgensons that hits a lot. No where near a 1st rounder in value. As for Tampa, every indication by Tampa and Stamkos has been he is returning next year; he's still skating with Kucherov and the Tampa GM has said they are working on it. To accomplish that even with Stamkos taking a pay cut into the 5 to 6mil range; they'd need to jettison Jeannot and Sheary and replace both with extremely cheap players. For instance more 800k guys. The latter trade is far more legitimate in value however I don't see Tampa having any interest in Jokiharju or Bryson. (Effectively Jokiharju would end up a 4mil AAV 5th/6th Dman while Bryson would likely just walk since I can't see Tampa paying his Qualifier. Meanwhile, Kulich would be thrust into Top 6 minutes due to Tampa's roster construction barring 2 more forwards being brought in. Stamkos - Point - Kucherov Hagel - Paul - *Kulich* Sheary - Eyssimont - Glendening XXX-XXX-Chaffee Hedman - Sergachev McDonagh - Cernak Perbix - Raddysh
  2. Aside Kulich, not much but I would feel "had"
  3. Tampa has to move Jeannot or lose Stamkos; they ***** up the trade with NSH. No reason we should feel any need to aid them in making up for their idiocy.
  4. Jeannot isn't worth anywhere near that much in value. He's worth about a 4th or 3rd at best. Girgensons has arguably been a better player the past two years. As such it become massive overpay for Cirelli; plus no team is going to retain 500k for 7 years. Cirelli isn't worth 11, Rosen, Kulich and Jokiharju(2nd rounder) + Bryson 1. Kulich is not available for Tampa, Savoie and him strike me as highly likely to make us endlessly regret trading them to Tampa based on their team style and such. Kulich puts up 40 within 3 years if we deal him there. 2. Your offer is actually more value than what we got for Eichel. You effectively offered 3 1sts, 1 2nd and 1 4th/3rd for a low offense 2/3C(High end defensive player) and a nigh-cap dump that hits
  5. Savoie might have an injury; he was randomly moved to wing and seems to have fewer minutes since the 1st game of the Memorial Cup. Most telling is his lack of production and face offs attempted
  6. https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/5181290 Tried to fix the seeming issue with the Seattle trade.
  7. They aren't getting a Top prospect for 3 UFAs The max is Joki, Rosen, and a 2nd I'd drop out Tanev but they aren't getting Joki(RFA), Rosen(ELC) and a 2nd for Gourde(UFA) and Borgen(UFA) Mostly because its hard to gauge Gourde's value because you could pole Seattle fans and get everything from 1st round picks to he's a cap dump
  8. A rather conservative approach to redoing the Bot 6 https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/5166646
  9. Captain will be either Tuch or Dahlin or even both.
  10. He's 1 of 3 Sabres that have been at both of Ruff's appearances so I'd guess he'll stick around. However I would hope without question they have zero intention of paying him 1.9mil to be a solid #7. Jokiharju is more of casualty of circumstance than a bad player. He doesn't fulfill any physical role and his play with Byram was an affront to the Geneva Convention. I see him dealt to Utah for a 2nd or in some sort of exchange with Seattle potentially.
  11. Technically the 1st HC fired by the Pegula regime to pick up a new HC job not named Ruff
  12. Well, Power would be a non-starter to me I'd offer 11, Kulich and a mid tier prospect; he has character concerns that worry me.
  13. I thought the rest of it was just the trophy presentation lol Wow though, if only the 99 playoffs had something like that happen
  14. Unless the PWHL has a different interpretation of interference; how this goal counted is beyond explanation
  15. Eh Dahlin looked fine in comparison to his countrymen.
  16. We had little choice in regards to Borgen; that was an expansion draft casualty and we could only protect 3 Dmen or we would of likely lost Thompson
  17. Frankly it seems the past 13 years, a number of defensive defenseman haven't quite worked here very well. McNabb never had a shot and McCabe was solid but wanted to go to Chicago for his wife. (Then Chicago traded him) Bush was a good big defenseman but his issue was he was a trainwreck in getting the puck up the ice
  18. But if Pesce doesn't want to come here; it doesn't matter if he's a perfect fit. I fully agree with the take however; even on the HFboards and CapFriendly I shot down Mitts for Byram trades because Byram doesn't fit the defensive style we need; however that doesn't mean I necessarily believe Byram is bad. Sadly, while not all players have trade protections; a large number of players in the specific niche of style we are looking for seem to have them in droves. (Likely due to defensive metrics being harder to gain financial perks from and thus they hand out NMCs and NTCs to give more security to the player) Mitts likely sealed his fate when the "wanting a contract like Thompson and Cozens" rumors floated around. At the present cap; you can't exactly run 7mil per center 1 through 3. Mitts claims Adams never talked to his agent but I would take that in meaning serious negotiations. If he wanted a minimum of 7x7mil and we were unwilling to do long term with 7mil then a contract negotiation would of been a fruitless venture to begin with. On a side note, I do think Dahlin originally was going to sign 8x10mil but the Pesce trade fell through and Dahlin's agent probably played coy for the extra million while Power's agent used similar reasons to force the contract terms we got.
  19. Devon Levi is their Carey Price on the horizon; or at very least what they are banking on more or less
  20. oddest part is how obsessed that guy is in trading Shea Theodore
  21. I would swear Dahlin & Power were solid, the issue was that Byram & Jokiharju were like 25 GF%
  22. Power and Dahlin played well together; it wasn’t ideal but it worked fine. Neither Power nor Dahlin are pure offensive defenseman. Both are skewed towards offense but aren’t exclusively offensive defenseman akin to Karlsson.
  23. Hate the Oilers because they were literally gifted McDavid for being inept and thus causing the lottery system to be implemented and modified by winning it 4 out of 6 years I believe. Meanwhile we have yet to move up once in a draft after 13 years of suffering. Dallas Stars the franchise is not going to get any sympathy or happiness from me. I do have conciliatory feelings though if they win thanks to Pavelski. Florida has multiple former Sabres but also resides in our division so eh. The Rangers, my only strong feelings I have is that it was absurd we lost a home game to “host” them at Citi Field
  24. I don’t expect him to become Keith; but stylistically he is similar in terms of being a skating defenseman who plays dirty at times
  25. https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/837646?post_id=4915126 This would around my guess
