It’s hard to exactly describe Eichel going to Vegas in either context. He was both a cherry on top of an already great team as well as either their best or at least 2nd best player. It was akin to mess of Lego bricks needing a specific piece to build the entire thing while the pieces alone could still be great nonetheless. Eichel put them over the top by being a larger base rather than a taller peak piece Frankly I don’t know if I even make that trade, I’m not all that high on Farabee

Zegras as a whole gives me pause between his personality and injury history. I’d have to expect both the medical and Ruff a-ok were involved

Well I’m sure as hell wouldn’t of traded 14, unprotected 25 1st, Kulich and Östlund for an iun-extended Ehlers and McGroaty

Zucker will wear 61 Lafferty will ether wear 37 or 28

According to Chad, Ehlers isn't. Effectively he's being "offered" in name only because the ask is akin to 2 1sts and Kulich + Östlund for un-extended Ehlers.

Personally I have no interest in Zegras; I just don't trust him to work hard.

I wonder if some of the sourness to Savoie was caused by the rumored night out he had with Krebs before his 1st NHL game. Not that it made him expendable but may have hurt his stock with the team seeing as Benson just blew past him when they likely expected the opposite.

According to Chad's article, Ehlers isn't going to be traded by WPG. Effectively they've been doing the same thing with him that they did with Hellebuyck and Schieffle of marketing him for trade and then asking absurd demands. Not really, he's a solid 3W

Supposedly he's on the market and has been most of the summer due to cap issues. I'm unsure as to how or why but I've seen his name brought up all summer

A potential Mid-6 winger would still be Ross Colton who might be on his way out of Colorado. He's certainly not flashy but he's #19 on that chart above and likely wouldn't cost an arm and a leg if WPG plays hard to get.

He's the team whipping boy for Oilers fans and was the same in Toronto and Ottawa as well. Jokiharju is honestly better

I'd move Krebs and Greenway if it somehow was important to getting a Top 6 guy but otherwise Greenway is slow but still solid. Ceci is terrible and I would offer a 7th for him

I like the player, have a hard time with the trade based on the Twitter and HfBoards crucifying us and comparing it to Erat for Forsburg. Granted had we done nothing we’d still be ridiculed just more quietly. I’m not entirely sure where Savoie would have fit long term but I wish we could have at least got a little more for him.
