  1. I don’t think it’s actually him sadly
  2. I'd love to sit down Cozens and show him clips from his first couple years and ask him honestly where that kid went? Where did that rough and tumble Yukon boy go who stood off to the side in Hamilton after fighting Michael Bunting and running Matthews? Where did the young man go that all but shut down Matthews and McDavid go in back to back games? And can we find that guy again.
  3. Pretty much; if he skates them into the ground today, which he may want to, he may have a very tired team for the game tomorrow. If he tears them a new one with video; the team will either wilt and thus get bag skated the next time they aren't playing the following day or play with their pants on fire against the Jets to avoid being yelled at again.
  4. I don't have any words.... I'm frankly just tired
  5. We're in trouble, Kea is reffing
  6. That is true 😞 I have seen a couple playoff runs but nothing of note lol
  7. I understand the point but it also paints a very bad picture of a poster when they never appear happy to have any success. It has a great deal to do with perception and an incomplete PoV of every other poster.
  8. It's very unlikely to be money based for the vast majority of those cases. It doesn't logically sync up with signing an Eichel to 10mil+ a year or ROR to a 7+ mil contract It's far more likely to be more related to perceived value. Pegula has never been shy about spending money; but he has a very orthodox way of deciding after the fact if the player is living up to the money. ROR hitting a Tim Horton's and fleeing the scene drunk within a month of signing soured Pegula to the player and only needed a nudge by Botts to be good with moving him. That being said he had no interest in paying a player a dime after they left if they weren't playing for him anymore. Eichel asked out and thus became a persona non grata instantaneously, hence at least part of the surgery issues. He's become a tad overly fickle over time and has clutched his pearls and wallet more over time but I don't have any fear he would pay a guy their asking price. (That being said I do think he's very hesitant to offer money to UFAs after the Leino debacle.
  9. Very likely; however his recent post would merely mean 3 to 5 more years of rebuilding and that is unacceptable and I don't honestly want to hear it. I'm not entirely sure how one takes it out on a team besides being annoyed or angry at them. In the end there are 3 things, in order, that are non negotiable. 1. Sabres stay in Buffalo 2. Sabres are a great team (more a desire but only secondary to their literal existence) 3. Fans aren't wholesale negative (It will never not get on my nerves how a small number of posters only chime in when the team is doing bad or struggling yet are completely silent when they look good)
  10. You aren’t even a fun read
  11. So far it is for sure and it looked very respectable in the off-season.
  12. I hate when Tage gets hurt because it takes him 5 to 8 games to get in a groove again; you can literally set a clock to it.
  13. Hate any game against the Isles; always a combo of refs letting the Isles do what ever they want and the Sabres either quickly or slowly folding to the 1990's style they play.
  14. Not exactly torn up about the trade of Jiricek; he would never received the ice time he wanted out of CBJ for.
  15. They tend to miss those when they aren’t Sabres
  16. Angry at the loss, happy at the comeback and a point But my God we have so many bad bounces as well as a putrid powerplay again
  17. He was on an Edmonton podcast or something of the like.
  18. I wouldn’t give out 1st the rest is accurate. Also Jeff Marek has completely lost his mind by saying the Sabres are willing to trade Cozens, Quinn, Bryan or Power to Edmonton. Unless McDavid is coming our way there isnt a soul on the Oilers I’d trade any of them for. I’m assuming Draisital is also off the table.
