  1. The fact that its 2015 makes it better than if it were this year. They're gearing up for McDavid, even if it means having to trade up to the first overall pick.
  2. Wow I like this guy. Real brutal honesty, and not the kind that the Bills and Sabres have pretended to have in the past.
  3. Isles will not be in the top ten though. I guess the logic is that if they are in the top ten for some reason they think Vanek won't want to re-up with them and will want to finish his career with a winner.
  4. It's almost impossible for us to predict this kind of thing. We may have a good idea of what kind of teammate someone like Ott might be but who's to say that a guy like Hodgson, who's the future of this time anyway, isn't a bit of a leader himself. I'm tired of rotating captains or a two-year wonder like Craig Rivet, let's anoint someone who'll keep that role for years to come.
  5. C: Vanek (It's about time, he deserves it). A: Ott (Clear choice). A: Foligno (start him up now, make him captain a few years down the road).
  6. I knew they weren't going to go out and sign any big names but wow they weren't kidding when they said suffering for next year.
  7. Man there's really no love for the hometown talent here. Why couldn't he be effective as a Sabre? Suppose Hodgson is as good as Darcy thinks he can be, and last season surely didn't disprove that, why couldn't he and Kane become a lesser version of Toews and Kane? Is that such a crazy thought?
  8. Seriously, what would it take to get Patrick Kane? After this season he'll have two years remaining on his contract. In two years he'll be in the prime of his career and will definitely be looking for a huge contract that he'll end his career with. Kane obviously loves his hometown, being that he still has a house here. What would we have to trade in order to get him maybe during the last year of his contract? Or do you think Chicago, with so many other players they'll surely need to resign in coming years, will just let him walk in the summer of 2016?
  9. hey guys, so i'm headed to villanova next year. I'm from northern NJ and have always watched Bills and Sabres games with my dad and his buddies so I don't intend on watching games next year without some fellow Buffalo fans. So here's my question, how many of you either live in the area, go to or have gone to the Bills backers bar of Philly or know people that do? Any feedback is very much appreciated. Also looking forward to meeting some displaced Buffalonians. I know the official Bills backers of Philly is at a place called McFaddens, is that still the place? And will they card me? Because I'm only going there to watch the games, I can get my drink on any other time. Thanks in advance!
  10. I'll be watching because these next few games are the last of Buffalo sports until august (yes I count the NFL pre season)
  11. Wow call a cop, Regier robbed them blind. What are they thinking? The dude is old and can barely move, and they value him that much? okie dokie!
  12. what the heck is going on? The league needs to look further into this game...wow
  13. Nathan Gerbe. Not all that tall (although taller than him by a few inches) but I would say I have similar tenacious qualities.
  14. So we could be tied for ninth if we win tonight? And thats a big if.
  15. Maybe I'm just repeating things here but what I think Lindy deserves so much respect for was his ability to have this team ready no matter in times of iffiness. Think about it: the team going bankrupt, an owner change, a lockout, financial contraints under Galisano, another lockout.
