Probably no precedence of a similar play so the NFL can't discipline him for it, you see no one has made that exact same hit with their arms in the same position he had his, and with their leg at the exact same angle, so you can't penalize him for it then! Or atleast no one in a black and gold uniform with the name Marchand on the back has done it in a game played on a Tuesday after an all star game in February in the year of 2017 so there's no precedence that the Nhl can use to compare it to

they might throw back the fact that they didn't even have a hockey team for many years, and their football team hasn't been great. And a baseball team that is "small market" minded and stuck in mediocrity/basement They might also be one of the only areas that can throw worse winter weather back at buffalo.... -

wow, so rob ray can say he scored a goal against the greatest goaltender ever? Dallas and LA have probably the best -
so apparently the explanation why is that there was never any precedence set for a similar thing, therefore they can't suspend him for it....

How much of it is NBC and how much is the nhl and scheduling? It's pretty widely known there would be 2 football games this week on Sunday, yet the only early hockey games scheduled are 1 game featuring a struggling Midwest team and a Canadian team in one of the smallest markets at 3, then a game at 5 between 2 of the smallest market American teams.

Foligno? or was that Lehner?
-
Thats my problem too, Iwas playing in a co-ed beginner league that had 2 levels and I was in the lower level. Its tough because the goals you end up giving up are bad ones because they are usually deflections, or bad bounces or hack that knock the puck in. In the higher division which I have played in also, they are actual shots and the ones that beat you are usually just really good shots. I also find I prefer games where I am facing ALOT of shots compared to only a few, even if I give up a bunch of goals, I feel better about my play giving up 5 goals on over 40 shots then 1 goal over 10-15 shots...
-
Yeah, typically more rebounds if you shoot low and its bouncing off a pad instead of in the air where we can catch it in our gloves. When I know what a player can do I usually try and cheat and stay up knowing they can shoot high, but then they screw up the shot and it stays on the ice and for some reason you freeze up and watch it go in.....
-
Yeah, doesn't really matter if Lehner is hitting on girls during a time out or ignoring everone in the arena, he still isn't great and gonna let in goals.........
-
Having played goalie, those are the shots I hate, when a player comes in on net, knowing they can shoot, they wind up to take a shot and it just huggs the ice the whole way I'm usually left frozen standing up watching the puck slide into the net between my legs..........
-
pissed me off, I needed the pens to lose so they would have 7, not the caps. A player in a pool I'm in now has a chance at the pot this week which is a nice one because of no one else winning since Christmas unless another team scores 7, and that's with their team losing the game

Game discussion thread Jets at Sabres 1-7-2017 @ 1pm
apuszczalowski replied to spndnchz's topic in The Aud Club
That's awesome, I have the flyers lightning game on because tsn won't show the sabres game here (they would rather show me a blank screen saying its blacked out in this area) and the flyers just scored right after Tampa to make it 4-2 and they play the 'chicken dance' in the arena for the goal. They should think about the Benny hill song in buffalo, or maybe use it when the enter the ice from the locker room. -
that's funny cause the Canadian announcers were talking about how well the officials did calling an even game for both sides and even tsn just said it too, after showing a Canadian getting taken down on a scoring chance late in the game. But yeah, it was a screw job by the refs to hold the US back and give the game to Canada. American papers, in Canada even the loss will make the front pages
-
ah, OK, so the referee home ice advantage is only for Canada's team? Get real, the reffing was no different then any other game. There were calls and no calls that could be debated either way
-
it's OK, were fine with it, your players will be honored that their win was mentioned on page 8 of the sports page in the local newspaper. yeah, the crowd was from Quebec and I did see some wearing Montreal jerseys......
-
yeah but next year it will be the opposite because the home teams refs are always biased to the home team to make sure they win.
-
I don't know what feed your watching but I didn't hear booing. I'm sure you guys will show class and keep your dildos at home and not toss them on the ice.
-
he's played great tonight, same as sweedens goalie last night. I have been much more impressed by the other goalies in the tournament then Canada's who haven't been horrible, just not spectacular most of the time.
-
damn those Canadian influenced refs! Obviously a Canadian snuck on wearing a US Jersey to draw that penalty
-
that has nothing to do with influence of officials, it has to do with the crowd being behind the home team and in most sports, the home team getting advantages like last change
-
it's always a conspiracy/screw job against them when 'Mercia isn't winning.....
-
obviously the officials made the puck go out of play.
-
like this game could end not in OT or a shootout
-
yeah there's definitely a conspiracy cause it's not possible that 'Merica isn't the greatest at everything. Then it's obviously a conspiracy against them or whatever they aren't the best at doesn't matter/isn't important enough to care about.
