  1. The pass to Moulson was a nice pass, I thought the pass to Stafford on the PP where Ennis scored was a great pass. There was such a short distance to saucer that pass and have it come down to where Stafford had an easy shot, took a lot of touch. The Gus, Ennis and Moulson line looked good last night, there's a nice mix of skill on the line.
  2. That is what I think the problem with Hodgson is. When he plays hard (once every 7-8 games) he looks good, it's the games in between that good game where he sucks because of a total lack of effort. Maybe if we had a coach that is a good motivator, it would help.
  3. Ten, really ? I can see getting 3 (not that I'd like it ), but 10 games is a little harsh. Not saying it wasn't a stupid thing to do.
  4. They had to find a way to get Meszaros more minutes.
  5. Both the Chiefs and Dolphins have been very good against the pass, with the problems the Bills have been having running the ball neither game is going to be a cake walk, as some seem to think. Aside from the Jets game (with the help of 6 turnovers), the offense has had trouble putting points on the board. That can not continue if there's going to be any chance of getting into the postseason.
  6. If you dump it in 25 times, it's bound to work once.
  7. This team is not that void of talent that they can't score a goal in 3 of the last 4 games unless there's another problem.
  8. This is a problem with Myers getting "nasty", he does not have the luxury of the officials allowing him to do whatever he wants such as Chara does. It seems any time Myers does get physical, he's shown the gate. I'm not saying it's why Myers has not shown more toughness, but if/when he does, as long as he's wearing the blue and gold, the stripes/league will put an end to it. JMO
  9. What would it hurt to put him with some skaters that could possibly help him get some opportunities in the offensive zone and maybe gain a little confidence ?
  10. With a $7 Million cap hit I don't expect to see Orton next season, unless he continues to play as he has been and the Bills make the postseason, which I don't expect either. I'm not bashing Orton, but we have seen the best of Orton in the past 3 weeks, we have not seen the worst of Orton. If (when) that does come, we'll see the reason he's been nothing more than a 10 year journeyman. Both the victory this past week and the victory against the Lions were saved by Sammy Watkins making great plays on throws well behind him that would/could of been ints. ending the game. I am for Orton being the starter for the remainder of the year because with such a young receiving corp, a veteran QB is needed and Manuel needs the time on the bench to get focused on what it's going to take to be a successful starter.
  11. Well then I guess it's got to be true, maybe unless it was reported otherwise.
  12. If I wasn't almost certain that you are the President, Vice President and treasurer of the I hate Ennis fan club I would ask what the heck are you talking about, but.... I guess there's 16 left.
  13. The name tag removed from the locker room was Chris Williams who is now on IR. Mike Williams probably wasn't too happy with getting 2 throws targeted to him out of 43 attempts against the Lions then to be sat against the Pats probably compounded things.
  14. Not sure the players are buying into Nolan's (no) system.
  15. Nice period by the Sabres. Hope to see the same effort in the 3rd period. It's nice to see some passes coming up the ice hit tape for a change.
  16. Aside from the shorty, Ennis has looked pretty good on the PK, he logged almost 3 minutes killing against the Blue Jackets and didn't look out of place. Reinhart didn't have a bad period, I don't see the rush to send him down, just yet.
  17. I chose Ennis for points and Ennis for goals, totally forgetting about Moulson. I think it will be Moulson leading the team in goals. Not thinking hockey yet, forgetting all the roster changes.
  18. What a long drawn out off-season it seemed to be. I'm ready for some hockey. GO SABRES !!
  19. Reading the post on twitter from players shortly after it happened, I'd say that the "locker room" didn't care for the decision. If the problems with the O-line aren't fixed, it doesn't matter if it's Manuel or Orton. Deciding to abandon the running game (our supposed strength) and and play into JJ Watt's strength while he's abusing the O-line was about as stupid as a move the coaching staff could of made.
  20. I like Alonso a lot and I think he has a great future, but I'm not going to throw away the season because of his injury, I think Bradham is going to fill in nicely. Bradham may not have Alonso "football IQ", but he may be better athletically. Alonso struggled the last 1/4 of the season, it may have been fatigue, but who knows, he had a hard time with over pursuing and angles. As I said, I think he is going to be a top LB, but right now, he's not irreplaceable.
  21. Maybe if he would of listened to Kim and got rid of Darcy Regier earlier, the Sabres wouldn't be in the position they are right now.
  22. I would of never guessed he was on anything performance enhancing.
