  1. Listening to WGR this morning they said the attempts were 100 to 49, that's a lot of shot attempts by the Stars.
  2. 49er's GM Trent Baalke says Kaepernick is not going anywhere. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000477319/article/gm-baalke-shoots-down-colin-kaepernick-trade-rumors
  3. Exactly how I feel, I know it's beneficial for them to end up last, but I can not pull myself to root against them. I will always feel excited about a Sabres goal and curse a goal by the opposition.
  4. I'd guess it was a reputation call on Ennis (Goon).
  5. I buy this, I don't expect Pegula to make any knee jerk reactions. It's a long off-season. I'd like Whaley to stay, as I did with Marrone at first, but now, I'd have no problem with Marrone being sent packing. Of course that's if they can find a suitable replacement, which doesn't include promoting Hackett (could you imagine).
  6. And you'll have a coach that wins 5 games a year.
  7. No Matt Moulson (sent home sick), maybe we'll see Grigs on the top line.
  8. I think the Flames might have liked to have him to be out there for the Sabres tonight.
  9. Don't count on Belichick resting people, it's something that he doesn't do. Just looking at the past 4 years, the Pats have had the division well wrapped up and Brady was still starting and finishing in week 17. Run, run, pass ? I wish there was a little more run, run, pass, lately we've been seeing a lot more run, pass, pass, punt. I do agree we've won games because of great defensive play, but there have been plenty of plays left on the field because of inept QB play, not coaching.
  10. I have to admit, that's not the first thought that crossed my mind when I saw Hodgson. In hindsight it was a good move, hopefully it'll give Cody a little confidence. Ennis 2 of 4 on SO's with 2 pipes hit. The Gus line is starting to look dangerous, they're becoming fun to watch in the offensive zone.
  11. Makes more sense. I thought it was a little crazy.
  12. Sabres hold the Lightning to 2 SOG's, if I didn't see I I wouldn't believe it. Still not sure I believe it.
  13. I think the best chance they'll have of winning against the three will be against the Pats. The past few games have been closely contested until later in the 2nd half. Plus the Bills are pretty familiar with Brady. The Pats might have the division wrapped up by week 17, but Belichick rarely gives players off, no matter what the standings are. Crazy stat I heard this morning, Manning is 126-4 against teams that average 21 points or less a game, that's unreal.
  14. Since it was on Kaleta, I won't be surprised if there is no suspension, unless they give one to Kaleta for inciting a skirmish.
  15. I don't know about 3 games, but for sure if Watkins doesn't make plays on balls thrown well behind him at the end of the Detroit and Minnesota games, the Bills would be at 3 and 7 right now. Watkins is a difference maker and if the Bills had to spend an extra 1st rounder (I'm guessing around the 15th pick) to get a player that can make difference for years to come, I'm fine with it.
  16. That wasn't blood coming from his mouth, it was clam chowda.
  17. This morning there was mention that tickets would be free and that Bills season ticket holders would get first crack at them. If this is what will happen or even if it's true, I haven't heard anything further.
  18. "Domes" are a thing of the past, although since 2006 there's been 3 stadiums with retractable roofs, Dallas, Indianapolis and Arizona, While you are right, they're not the typical "domed stadium, it's pretty much the same thing IMO. Since that time only 2 open air stadiums have been built, New Jersey and San Diego. I would prefer an open air stadium, but if Buffalo is to ever host a Super Bowl, I'd think the chances are much greater with a roof.
  19. The FNC was spared for tonight's game.
