To my American friends and relatives happy fourth of July. I was just down in Couer D'alene, Idaho for our long weekend and unfortunately had to return to work so missed out on helping to celebrate the 4th but had a great time. Spent Canada day in the U.S.A. with no complaints. :thumbsup:

New skates almost yearly the first few years what with the growing bodies. Hockey schools in the summers. Speed skating classes.Hotels,motels,travel. The list seems endless and all this while knowing all along probably from a early age that we'd never amount to much more than beer leaguers. Face it, special kids are noticeable early and dad must have known we were average yet he still shelled it out. I love him for it but often wonder how much it cost him.

Do the compliance buyouts only follow a CBA year or new CBA ? If thats the case they won't happen every year. Kind of feel for this years free agent class with all these extra stars on the market. Brings down the free agents payday for sure.

I agree on that hit but the comments on this board have been over the top and incredibly biased in my opinion. One can go over any game in this series and find calls that should have been made or perhaps shouldn't have been made that go against both teams.

Its funny but I'm seeing a game and series where the non calls and officiating in general have been pretty much even. But then again I'm not having my vision blurred by a hatred for either team. I don't love em and I don't hate em. Try it you might see a good game. You'd think by the biased comments on this board that the N.H.L. was deliberately giving this series to the bruins.
