As do I . Its probably been 40 years since I last picked up a comic book. Fell into this series simply channel surfing one night and liked it for the characters more than anything. Zombies don't hold any real fascination for me either.

Some say we're following the Pittsburgh model by tanking. Its funny but I don't remember the Pens actually coming out and saying we're tanking for high picks. In a round about way both Regier and Black have said thats the plan. As a 40 year fan who has been through some highs and some lows this is the lowest I've seen this franchise fall integrity wise. Its an embarrassment seeing management not trying to improve this roster. For that reason alone both Black and Regier should be sent packing. As a team president and G.M. your job is to always do what you can to improve the franchise. I guess in a way they are doing what they can by not doing anything. Pathetic and spineless. Watching trainwrecks is oddly exciting. Not so much when you're on the train. I feel sorry for the few professionals that work for this organization. Button ? on t.s.n. was calling for 4 but I'm not sure what he bases that on. His last suspension for the same infraction was 4 so I'd think it would be ramped up. But this is Shamaban so who the hell knows how this works.

I'm with you here. I'd rather they tanked to lose Regier than tank to gain a pick. The problem is it appears they ( the players ) are simply tanking because Regier hasn't given them any help. This is a dreadful team but with a couple of pieces in the right places they'd be respectable. Maybe not contender respectable but compete respectable.

Wouldn't give up Pysyk in any deal just yet. To me he represents the best of what we have at D right now. I suppose thats why he's included in speculation but I'd hate to see him go.

That and why the delay ? I think they're really searchin on this one. No doubt he gets suspended because of past stupidity but is it deserved for this play ? Kaleta is his own worst enemy. He's essentially rendered himself useless at the N.H.L. level because he's a liability to his team and the league is out to get him. I'm not making excuses for him but he's obviously a marked man if this hit is suspendible.
