I agree about the call. Canucks and their fans will blame the officiating but their problems run deeper than that. They are simply a piss poor playoff team. 1 win in their last 11 playoff games ? How they can even consider themselves a contender is beyond me, Easiest division in hockey and all the division titles in the world don't mean squat when you can't win a playoff game.

I'm not sure you can plan this disfunction. Why would you ? No. Regier is scrambling and trying to play catch up because he was caught with his pants down. A total miscalculation on his part in regards to his evaluation of his players. He needed a perfect storm of positive outcomes to have a winning season and he got the opposite. I'm sure this was shocking to him which illustrates exactly how out of touch he is in the current N.H.L.

This has the makings of a sweep. Are the leafs/marlies that far ahead in drafting, developing, and recruiting talent than the Sabres/Amerks. Shite. I don't really know what to make of all this. Never listened to the press conference but from what I can tell by way of this thread it didn't go too well. The Buffalo press did the people of Buffalo a great disservice for not focussing on what was important. Who the hell cares about TPs vanishing act. I'm more interested in DRs slight of hand. I want to know if he's going to stretch this rebuild into 5 years or more to add to his longevity with this franchise. Lower expectations and no one expects anything from you.
