The guys are having a blast. The fans seem to like it but personally I'd like this skills competition to have a little more to do with hockey. A little too much highjinx for my liking. Hardest shot should be good. As long as they don't have the guys rush the net in clown shoes.

I'm actually enjoying the process. Mostly because I was almost dead inside from watching Regier and his slower than trying to pass a funnel shaped shitt style and getting nowhere fast. I'll say one thing about Darcy. You always knew what you were going to get. Not nearly good enough when it counted but more than willing to do the same thing all over again to get the same result. Anyways , thats all behind me now. I'm over it. Looking forward. Only 35 games to go and we can start building a team. Its frigging exciting thinking about the possibilities. This team will prolly have a two thirds turnover next year. Can't wait.

Leafs are about to blow it up.IMO. If they can get some ahem,cough, stars to waive their no trades they'll be moved for picks and prospects. Can the Toronto faithful stand a rebuild ? Stay tuned. We may have some competition for the shart.

Its funny reading all 3 coyotes fans argue in the comments section of that article. The regier rebuild will alienate an already paper thin fanbase in the desert to the point of crushing that franchise. But maybe thats the plan ? Create more reason for league help to get out of town. It would be easier to sell that team with a franchise/generational talent in the mix.

I celebrated the day Regier was canned and I don't regret that move one bit. We could be as dreadful with him at the helm. This team will be better. Before that happens things will get fugly, Things have been fugly. I'm aware that there's a price to pay when you turn over the roster but its the right thing to do. The team we play tonight could win the shart with their inconsistent play this year. They have been that bad. They haven't turned over the roster. But this year the Sabres have been the tonic that cures what ails ya. Not sure how this will go. I'm hoping to at least see a fighting spirit out of the boys. Go Sabres !

I agree. As I've said before Mike Babcock would appear average or worse coaching this roster. You can't make a silk purse from a sows ear.
