That Tampa play by play dude is like nails on a chalkboard.
Worse, bamboo under nails on a chalkboard.
Mmmm, acid in eyes, bamboo under nails on a chalkboard.
He is terrible and makes the game almost unbearable with his Tampa goal calls. Jeesh !
Lets be honest. I want a cup. But if 10 years of contending annually and being in the conversation every playoff is what it takes to get there, I'll take that.
So you're saying there was no tank ? We've been over this ad naseum but the players and coaches don't tank. Management does . The overt part I was talking about was the social media aspect of the fans experience which was heads and shoulders above that of the Pens fans during their ' TANK ' simply because the social media experience at that time wasn't as extensive nor ingrained into popular culture as it is at this time.
Hey I was just responding to the thread with an opinion. Just my thoughts on the tank( NHL ). I lived through the Pens tank and was old enough to watch. No early bed timesie for me. There is a difference between the 2 in that the pens fans never embraced the tank in quite the same way Sabres fans did. No navel gazing from me. This is certainly not something that I find pride in.
For me it was the new language that evolved and was invented because of and specific to the tank. This would include the charts and data that SS posters were imo pioneers in developing. I'm not sure if there has ever been a tank that was so overt as the tank we just witnessed.
