  1. I agree on Horvat. A future leader of that team. Already leading in a lot of ways. Sometime over the next couple of years the torch will be passed from the Sedins to younger guns like Horvat.
  2. Ottawa just got robbed. Ref was standing on opposite side of the net and thought Price had the puck covered which he clearly didn't and blew play dead just as ottawa player swept it into the net. Call stands.
  3. Millers rebound control was crazy bad in that game but like others have said he was rusty and possibly still feeling the effects of the injury.
  4. Ha ha. Seen that months ago but what the f#$@ was he sayin ?lol
  5. Calgary was relentless and hungry. Vancouver not so much. Calgary learned how to beat teams in the 3rd period this past season with a never say die attitude and that carried over into this first round. I think they'll have a tougher time with the ducks. I'm pulling for the flames. They are fun to watch.
  6. Is the difference between McDavid and Eichel that much ? If so I believe Eichel would be lumped in on the same level with every other pick following #1.
  7. Not sure if this is on netflix . I watch it on history but anyone follow Vikings ? Its my thursday standard. The wife and myself really like it.
  8. After watching Torts crash and burn in Vancouver I don't want him anywhere near this team. It seems to be a pattern. He is a fun watch at pressers.
  9. Chiarelli says he'd like them to get heavier and harder to play against. Gone will be the 80's ideal of run and gun which Mac T had mistakenly clung to. Mac T didn't have a clue about team building which is obvious. Chiarelli will do what it takes to turn this around and it'll be a quick turnaround imo. He has the pieces to move.
  10. Well they have moved Mac T out of a position that impacts the product on the ice so there is that. Things are looking up for that team. It won't take too much to get that team on the right course.
  11. I had no problems hearing the noise through my t.v. at the end of the winnipeg game last night when the jets faithful saluted that team. I've been to live games many times and I've watched them on t.v. and I think the fnc is the only place people use that excuse for lack of noise. I think the problem is product on the ice. Or maybe something structural ? Who knows ? but if it gets as loud as it was in the Peg it would translate through my t.v.
  12. I agree but if they wanted things to change they would do it. Look at the lottery for example. They managed to change that in the wink of an eye.
  13. Ducky I thought your name was for hawerchuck but I see it serves a dual purpose with the guiding.
  14. Apparently Chiarelli is in Edmonton meeting with the oilers. Sorry if this has been discussed.
  15. Sorry I'm late to get back. No center ice for me. Sportsnet on now to catch the o.t. Chitown/Nashville. Its either sportsnet or cbc for me. Calgary takes a 3-1 lead in the series and seem to be getting stronger as this series goes. Blocking tons of shots. Van just doesn't seem to have an answer but they are usually tough at home so...?
  16. This Canuck game is rockin. Dorsett with the goofy hit from behind on Sam Bennet and the flames score on the powerplay. Lots of hits.
  17. rimjob
  18. For those of you that feel Eichel just isn't good enough. I happen to love our chance to draft Eichel. I was all in for McDavid but I've come around in the last couple of days. But for what its worth Gretzky says that McDavid is the best player to come along in 30 years.
  19. We must remember that transparency about injuries during playoffs is almost non existent but who knows ? I suppose it could be a rib.
  20. They showed the Jets fans walking up to the stadium and it was already a whiteout. I'm sure they would be available at the concession for those that never had them. Also, you could literally hear a mouse fart after that o.t. goal was scored. Sad stuff.
  21. Agreed :w00t: Crikey ! Its a barnburner in the Peg
  22. I agree he didn't touch the puck. That much was obvious on the replay.
