    I agree. He wouldn't know how to play a classic 2 on 1 if it slapped him in the face. Its like he has blinders on and his team mate doesn't exist. He is selfish that way but I do love what he brings to the team in almost all other aspects of his game.

    Its all just background noise to me as I watch the game. Its the same when I watch the game on the CBC. All I really care about is beating this team.

    I got no problems with their coverage of the American slant on this hockey day in America. It is what it is. Enjoy the day. Overall I'm surprised Milbury hasn't put his shoe in his mouth yet. Or have I missed something ?

    Whats the oilers situation called ? Tank 5.0 they currently sit tied for last overall. Not shocking but I am surprised they still haven't improved even 1 iota from past seasons.

    I find it a wee bit creepy how Pierre continually moves forward into a persons ' space ' as he's interviewing them and they'll keep backing up to put that buffer there until they are almost backing into the showers and ... :blink:

    Loved deadpool. This from a guy that just doesn't get the whole comic to movie adaptation craze. I never rush out to see these movies and will usually wait to see them on netflix if ever. I've missed more than I've seen. So if this film reels in a few new fans with its humour and out of the box writing good on it. Not sure why it should have to follow the same boring formula.

    No excuses for what Wideman did. Not even a concussion. Somewhere along the way Dennis Wideman forgot why he originally suited up to play this game. The guy sitting on that bench after he hit that linesman was a bitter, childish entitled person. You can still see it resonate in his words as he blames the refs for his predicament. No way could this be the result of his actions. Are you kidding me ? This is THE Dennis Wideman.

    Good post. In the news conference he thanked his team mates for their support. This is a tight room but I'm sure he'll have some alone time with a couple of the veteran guys and they'll try and set him straight. No clothes into the shower...yet.
