That was the first time I've seen Cozens in live play. He's got such a calm demeanor even after a goal. But when he got that opportunity where he took the outlet pass to the net, he charged like a bull. Peterka plays with grit and has plenty of skill. It was great to see him get a lot of ice time against a team that will make him better. Stuetzle lost his composure several times, where JJ just kept playing.

Peterka to me was clearly the player of the game for Germany.

Could you explain exactly what "expected high end potential" is? The reason this trade would never take place is just Cozens isn't nearly enough. I'd be thinking about the possibility of losing Hall after a year.

Skinner is an excellent player (as is Reino) and IMO was the most effected by the inept roster last year. In turn he'll be the one that benefits the most from the additions. IMO, they bring totally different things and if we can make a forward work well with Jack and Hall would thrive on the same line with Staal.

I found that video captivating. It sounded like Hall's agent was communicating that Hall would have considered a longer term contract with the Sabres but it was in fact Adams that dictated it. Further, hearing Hall after signing the deal, clearly said he hopes things go well and he's a Sabre for a long time. Sabres fans proceed with caution because of all we've been through. However I think similar to the Bills getting Diggs we can't truly comprehend how different a player like Hall can make this team. The organization thinks he changes us instantly and I agree.

No it isn't. Could just as easily mean there wasn't a significantly better trade if we proposed to other teams, what would you give if we pay the bonus.
