Foligno was making 8 mil this season? Ok KA has no idea how to be a GM. Don't some of the playoff teams GM know how to? Why wouldn't they offer something better? Everyone knew he was available and you know KA made his last rounds with anyone interested. Are you telling me Toronto chose Foligno and to give up a 1st and 4th instead of Hall for a 2nd because KA is stupid? Or that Columbus fleeced Toronto? I don't get what you're saying, literally at all.

Fleeced? It was a trade involving low end NHL players and one grossly overplayed player with a no trade clause who's a free agent after the season. This won't effect either team long term so it doesn't even qualify for this level of outrage.

It's amazing to me that anyone actually thinks KA could have and should have gotten more. The entire league knew we were shopping Hall. As if there's other GM's are out there saying, we would have given more but that stupid Adams didn't ask us. Or that the other GM's were just saying who could screw Adams the most with the lowest offer and the Bruins won. Hall sucks and the playoff teams weren't interested beyond what we got. Get over it.

IMO, when you have a young team with no experience of being on a team that wins, you need a veteran coach. Then when/if the players experience winning and that coach gets you so far, you can make a change to a specific style coach. We're hiring inexperience to coach inexperience. It doesn't make sense.

I'm really hoping those rumored additions to the FO happen so they can help make decisions like this. That's where it all has to start for me. Good hockey minds that build trust with the fans through their decisions.

I hear ya but he chocked, IMO. The puck handling in the OT was poor. Head down looking at the puck and the ultimate turnover lead to the loss.

It's the lowest point for me. We're the worst team in the league. We have one of the best players in the league, who's mentally weak and making huge money. We got lucky with Dahlin and he sucks. We have nothing significant in the pipeline. We're coachless with amateurs making that decision. We have Sam's free agency looming and if he goes we're worse, if we sign him, well we're who we are with him and another huge contract. No cap space and no goalie. Other than that there's reason for hope.

Hutton plays the puck worse than any goalie I've ever seen. He literally set them up at the point twice so far.
