Exactly. We're kind of stuck. A non healthy roster most of the season has been difficult to overcome. Yet they're 9-10-2 with all that's happened and playing really bad when it's been bad.

We've tried that with more players than either one of us care to remember. It didn't work. Over the last 3 seasons? No, unless we'd like to count Clifton and Johnson. Mmm, not good. To get players better than them, we have to massively over pay and KA isn't doing it. I agree with him.

I mean I feel the same towards you. 4 players and a true #1 goalie actually makes me laugh out loud. You can think it's KA not wanting that all you'd like. We don't need top end talent necessarily, we need those guys that are good and fill your roster out. Those free agents aren't coming here unless you give them years and millions more. You aren't trading our prospects until they prove worth. That means they have to develop in Roc, etc. That time isn't now to maximize their trade potential.

We got played so easily. They set that up and we just let it happen.

I'm in a tough spot with this team because I really do like it. Maybe consciously or subconsciously, some of you do too. I think that's why I get so upset, because I want them to be good for myself but for them too. I like DG and KA. I like Tage, Skinner, Tuch, and Dahlin. I believe in Quinn, Power, Cozens and Peterka. I don't want to lose Mitts. I talk myself into feeling decent about Krebs. I think our draft picks were solid - even though smaller forwards and I like where Rochester is. So ok, I don't like Ollie. I can live without Okposo and Girgs. I'm ok without Greenway. Clifton seemingly is JAG. Johnson didn't add much. Well what would we get in return for filling out the roster without them and their cost? So what am I supposed to do when I like all the guys who are under contract for a while and seemingly the core? I sure as crap don't know. Blow it up? Good grief this sucks.

We've had a rash of injuries (albeit mostly short term), few players under performing, lines not totally settled, PP stinks, defense still not great, face-off's still an issue. Yet we are one point out of a playoff spot and no where near our potential. I think we may have turned a corner and haven't realized it. I'll say it again - I believe we're going to be really good.
