This is sickening. For 2 years we were such a beautifully passing offensive team. We were almost never out of games because our offense could strike and get us back in the game. It was so proven I took it as a given we were fine offensively. I can't believe what I'm seeing. Better specials, defense and goaltending was all we needed. Well...... this sucks.

Of course my birthday dinner gets in the way of what sounds like, a great Sabres evening.

This is welcome news. I pay for NHL center ice from Directv and last year, a ton of games were on MSG. I thought about canceling but I don't want to miss any games that aren't.

I didn't mean it in the sense of never shuffling, but more in this is the complete roster. The money is finally spent and here's what we're looking at trying to contend with.

You'd essentially be setting the roster for many years with a move for Pesce and an extension. Not that I'm against it. To me the question would be, is he the last piece coupled with internal development, enough or what you'd want to be a cup contender? He'd likely be the last significant piece you could add at that point.
