Not sure what the plans are but they havn't announced long term replacements yet. Heard it'll be another month or so before they have anything concrete. I know that Pat Duffy will be hosting a Bills training camp show but i'm not sure about which time slot.

Stafford was a UFA. So, he wouldn't be here anymore anyways. I still like the trade. The trade gave us a injured Kane who was out for the season in the year we were aiming to get McEichel. I don't think Myers and Stafford would've laid down on the season. Pure talent, Kane is a very good player. Sometimes to become great you have to take risks. Not always they work out. Sabres did get McEichel, and i think are positioned really well, essp if they can lock down Jimmy Vesey, for a potential Kane-bust.

As a partial season ticket holder, I will already have a game ticket, but i will meet with everyone before and/or after for some message board bonding and brews.

Yup. It'll start for first day of training camp. I agree with inkman, Murph's show is just so bland. Theres other shows they are gonna have on MSG though, including a evening Bills show. I'm sure Sal will get in somewhere. He's a real good talent and i'm sure they will use him to the fullest.

I like McCabe a lot as well. But i was also a fan of Pysyk, although his lack of physicality always bothered me. When i saw this thread, this was the goal i was about to start searching for.

I'd bring back the 8pm Friday night games. During the goat-jersey era, the Sabres wore the red butter knife jerseys on Friday nights and called them Red hot Friday night or something. I'm not a big fan of the 7pm games, but i understand them for families as late games are a hassle for them and people who work early in the mornings, but once a week, a 8pm game i think would be ideal.

Nylander looked outstanding. The best player there i thought. His shootout goals will be the most talked about part from the development camp but the best play he did IMO was spin off a defender and jet down the wing creating a 2 on 1 break for his team and then setting up Victor Olofsson with a pretty pass. Almost a gimme but the goalie Samuel made a nice save. Olofsson also played real well in my opinion. He was one of the standouts along with Florentino, Bailey and Rasmus Asplund. Cal Petersen was rock solid, as he usually is. He's got to be viewed as our best prospect netminder at this point, right?

It all depends how much he thinks he's worth compared to what Murray thinks he's worth. If McGinn sees himself at a certain level, theres no point of keeping him for the sake of keeping him. Might as well get something for him instead of getting nothing. If the Sabres and McGinn are not seeing eye-to-eye on dollars and term in February, it won't get better by July, barring an injury or something. July is crazy money season and guys like McGinn usually get over paid.

If you're hoping for him to make a significant improvement by Monday 3pm, you're setting yourself up for huge disappointment. Teams in our position don't go out and get help at the deadline. Also, i don't think Murray will want to risk losing lottery ball percentage odds.
