    And I still believe this was the reason why LaFontaine left. I think Pegula, Black were so sold on the Penguins model that they wanted a complete rebuild. I agree but I'm excited to see how they can turn it around. Having McDavid or Eichel is a start to having a solid first line. Plus want to see what Murray has in store with all these UFA's. Just hope he doesn't do another Ehrhoff move. I still think he could of kept him and moved him later on and at least got something for him.

    I will be more than happy if we get McDavid or Eichel in this draft. I think both of these players are so close it's a win win any way you look at it. What I want Murray to do is try to move back into the top ten and land another solid player. This Marner kid might be a sleeper in this draft. Kid is putting up numbers every game.

    I still think getting rid of your best defenseman in Ehrhoff and getting nothing for him was a bone headed move. I know the reasoning but dumb.

    The only good thing about Arizona is that Tippet always has them play hard. The games I have watch them play he gets max effort out of his team almost every night. Unlike Nolan.

    That's what I have been telling people. I just have this strange feeling that no matter where they finish they are going to win that draft lottery. Arizona doesn't have any really great offensive players coming besides Domi and could use a player like McDavid to fill seats in an already shaky market. God I hope I'm wrong though but that's why I want Buffalo to finish last overall at least they would be guarnteed Eichel and I would be more than happy with that.

    Edmonton needs to start pulling away from us just in case they actually win a game or two. I don't trust this stupid lottery so finishing last guarntees us at least Eichel and I would be more than happy with that.

    Last night was the first time in awhile that someone laid a hard hit on Kane. I'm just guessing Murray likes his players with size. I know it's early but I don't expect much from Grigs at all. His skating needs work. I just don't see much out of Grigs. Sorry I like guys who can skate and look to improve everyday. Their was a reason why a lot of teams passed on him at the draft. Armia has excellent hands but hoping he has the drive to improve his game.

    Both players were picked in the second round. This team has too much at stake to ###### up picks. I know u can't hit on all but this team should be studying and scouting players in their sleep.

    I get what your saying but I would rather use those picks this year. Yes I am for this total rebuild and knew this would take awhile but I don't want to wait till another draft to acquire more players plus another 3-5 years to develop. You go that route we will always be in rebuild mode. I would rather see Murray package both late 1st round picks plus a second and possible player and acquire another pick in the top 10. This team needs to finish last at least guaranteeing one of the big two. But Marner seems like he is tearing it up so maybe their is a third player. I just don't know about the kids size. Murray seems like he wants players over 6'0". Those players seem like the can handle the grind of a long playoff run better.

    Not impressed with Cornell or Martin. To me we can't afford to miss on 1st or 2nd rounders if they want to turn this team into a contender. Murray and all the scouts should be eat, sleep, dreaming of which players. They have nothing but time on their hands.

    We need McDavid or Eichel that would be a start. Then Murray needs to package both late firsts and a second and try moving back into the top ten. I agree.

    Gorges ain't bad but when u have no offense and u get outshot 2-1 every game u will be a negative player. This team has one second line that's it.

    He can't mold ###### into Gold and Mezaros and a bunch of others are ######. Hodgson, Stewart, Stafford and the list goes on.

    Yeah no kidding. Murray needs to unload this garbage soon. He somehow needs to put a package together and get another top 10 pick. Tell me about it. Wait till Murray unloads all these UFA if any team actually wants this garbage. This team is worse than Edmonton. Edmonton has been playing better of late and see them passing us soon. We need one of these big 2 in this draft.

    Some how Murray has to put a package together and move up into the top ten. That way you have two top ten picks. Just need Edmonton to start putting some wins together same goes for Arizona and Carolina to get some separation on us. Touchdown Minny! U know Nolan would like to have a few others up full time from Rochester but knows it ain't gonna happen until after the deadline.

    I don't think many teams are going to be trading for Stewart, Stafford, Benoit and which goalie do u keep. I would like to see Murray package both late firsts and one of the seconds to move back into the top ten. They might as well waive him because ain't no team trading for that bum. I still can't believe we let Ehroff walk for nothing. I know the details but that's just plain dumb.

    Now we have to root for Carolina to win tonight and beat us this way they can overtake us so we can be back in the spot we should be all along. This team needs offense. McDavid or Eichel would help generate scoring for years to come. Tank on baby. I hate to say this but I wish we were already done with this season. It's painful to watch but it will be so worth it if we land one of the big two.

    I agree his skating right now isn't that explosive which he will need to work on if he wants to be dominant at the NHL level.

    Sam had a great tourney. The kid has off the charts hockey IQ and defensive awareness. You can tell he is a pass first player. This is why you get him good wingers he makes the players around him better. He had a few passes in the tournament where he just knew his players would be in the open space. Me personally I would like to see him work on his skating speed and bulk up some so he can be dominant at the NHL level. The tools are there is just getting stronger. Now on to McDavid. He started the tourney off slow because he didn't play for sometime with that hand injury. But by the end of the tournament you could see in the last few games he was putting up points. His speed when he gets going is NHL high end speed. Kid is gonna be good. Eichel from what I seen is also right there. I think Eichel is gonna be that goal scorer where as McDavid is that playmaker with surefire hands from the face off dot on in.

    I'm all for keeping Enroth until our other goalies are ready to make the jump. Have one goalie battle it out to make the big club. As far as our other UFA's I'm guessing he keeps one of them and I'm talking Stewart or Stafford. Mez has to go. Just get whatever for him. It should be interesting to see what happens in the next few months. I'm hoping now that Jordan Staal is back that they make alittle climb. I still would like to finish in the bottom two especially since I doubt Edmonton is going to overtake us in points.

    Your kidding right? They need to be move to get something back rather than lose a player for nothing. If he won't re-sign then you move that player.

    I don't think moving Ennis is smart. If we had a real first line and he was on the second line playing against teams 2nd and 3rd liners I think he would be much better. Ennis is a very good player.

    Feel sorry for guys like Hall and Eberle. I would want out if I'm either one of those guys. That team is a revolving door. Problem is the door is all the good players going and replaced with players not as good. And then they wonder why they haven't made the playoffs since who knows when. You guys do realize Perron is a pretty darn good player on a super ###### team with no direction. Yeah they got a first rounder that will be in the 22-30 range. But it's Edmonton drafting so they don't have a great track record outside their top picks. So u wait 3-5 years for development of that pick if he even pans out.
