I would much rather them send Reinhart back to junior and work on getting stronger. You all see what Stevie Y did with his top pick last year Drioun. Sent him back to junior and that kid was damn good but I think he is going to be one of the top rookies to watch this year. Has the speed, moves and passing ability. No need to rush Reinhart. Next year I'm all for this kid earning a spot. We came this far on the tank now why abandon it in what appears to be a deep draft.

It's better to come in last this year because I just don't see this team being a contender. In a deep draft like this one you could really position yourself to be a great team for years to come if you land one of the big two and then hit on your other two firsts. I would much rather have 1 top five rather than 6-12 because this team wants to play better. Goal is the Cup isn't it. I'm worried they beefed up the defense in front of whoever is the number 1 goalie. I think Enroth is going to be that guy and will be a lot better than people thought he would be. He has been waiting for this chance for how many years now?

Problem with Buffalo is they draft players and if they become something special then they don't want to pay them. Farm team for the rest of the league. Then the scouts they have must be mediocre because they reach for so many players that don't make it. Whoever buys the bills needs to clean management out and start fresh. Hire garbage get garbage results and that's what the bills have in the last 20 years!

I agree I think Cleveland is going to have a top 5-10 pick maybe better if they look like the do in preseason. Here I'm just gonna say it I think EJ's a bust and instead of addressing a solid backup in the draft they failed to do so. Until new ownership comes in it's just another year the Bills don't make the playoffs. I'm hoping for Pegula to buy the team to start cleaning house and to hire way more scouts because they seem to miss more than they hit on these picks. To me the Bills are the farm team for the rest of the league. Their a joke!

I live in Las Vegas being a Buffalo transplant. I think it's not gonna work here. Yeah they sell out during the preseason games due to tons of Kings fans making the drive. U have heard Movie producer Jerry Brukheimer being a driving force but I think it's plain stupid to expand here. We can only draw 4-7 thousand people at minor league hockey what makes them think we are gonna draw 15-16 thousand. It will be another Coyotes squad. Dumb absolutely dumb!!!!

This Bills squad sucks big time. Not a fan of EJ. Looks like another bust. Hope who ever buys this team cleans house in the front office. This team could have addressed the QB spot in the draft and they pick no one. They will be lucky if they get 4-6 wins. He sucks! Plus looks like Marrone will be gone by the end of the season .

Garth overhypes every Sabres player. I like his passion but I don't think he's that great of a writer.

I think I would put an offer on him and most likely he could stick.

Just throwing this out there because it's looking like he is going to test the open market. Any team that signs him gives up a second. Not bad for a former first rounder 6'2 " right winger who can score. Do u believe Murray will make a play for him? What our your thoughts?

We made it this far with the rebuild what's one more year of the tank when their are two guys at the top who are franchise changing quality. Who gives two shits about making the playoffs if your not serious cup contenders. We have been down this road for almost this franchises whole existence. Make the playoffs and get knocked out early or be a so so team and miss the playoffs and draft in the teens. No thanks let's complete the tank please.

I'm just wondering if Tavares is healthy yet or still rehabbing? I still think the Islanders will be better than people think and we won't be picking in the top ten with their pick. I agree I would use 2 firsts on offense and another on a defenseman.

That's hitting the nail right on the head. We all know we want McDavid and it would be Buffalo's luck that he lands in Arizona with Darcy.

I'm going out and saying it right now and god I hope I'm wrong on this. But Darcy started this whole tear down job to land top picks and now that he was canned and ended up in Arizona don't be surprised if somehow Arizona lands McDavid. I think the league would like that. It gives them a player that team and fans can finally get excited about and probably sells more tickets in the desert. Plus u look at their team this year and they don't have much scoring up front at all.

I'm still thinking Stewart and Stafford get moved at some point this upcoming year. Plus I have this strange feeling McDavid ends up in Arizona. Darcy Karma. He started it all and somehow I think they land him. A struggling franchise has a player to build around.

I'm guessing that why not keep all the kids in Rochester for one more year. Let them dominate at the AHL level while we hope to complete the tank.

Sounds like most of the kids will be playing in Rochester. I'm all for that.

And who says if Grigs isn't unloaded to another team for another piece or pick. This finishing close to the playoffs or being a first round failure had to end. I'm actually been real excited about the future more so than ever with all these kids. It actually making me laugh at all the comments about Zadorov at camp that he is slow or he seems like he is skating in cement. The kid is a top defenseman in the OHL. The kid needs time to develop and work on his game. Geez these fans are killing me. I said when they tore it down it was going to be a 3-5 year rebuild but leaning more towards 5 years before we see the playoffs. I agree and in a couple of years people will be wow we have a really good team and a ton of young talent.

Very good point but I believe with all the scouts they have, video analysis of younger players and the amount of money Pegula has put into the scouting department I think u are gonna find a lot of players making it either with us or another team. People expect that if they don't see some superstar in a player they drafted they get down on him. These kids need time to develop and I think the scouting staff has pin pointed young players in the draft and have their minds made up on getting these players. The best is yet to come folks just be patient.

I totally agree. People don't want to go thru a rebuild like this but it was totally necessary. Yeah let's finish 10-14 pick wise and be this mediocre team. No Fing Way I want that. This team should be pretty damn good and if people don't see it they sure will in a few years.

Now do u believe what I posted right before u that a lot of these kids might be NHLers because a lot of them might be close to the same skill wise. People can talk about Compher but I think he will be up with the big club before he graduates Michigan. This team has a ton of solid prospects. The one no-one is talking about is Armia. Does he need more development time to get bigger, stronger and faster. Anyone know how he look. I would also like to know where last years second rounder was Connor Hurley or was he under the same rule as Fasching when he started college.

I know some people here seem to say that most of these young players will be misses as far as making it in the NHL. But do any of u think as much money, scouts, and everything else Pegula put into the scouting department that there are going to be a lot more players making it. I truly believe so plus u have a guy like Murray who was an ex-scout. I think our prospect pool is really good and that some players might not stand out more because a lot of them are close in talent. I'm liking what I hear about Grigs. I think a full season in the AHL with his current workout program and skating help will really benefit his game. Worst case scenario is he is moved for something else. But I see a lot of these kids making it either on Buffalo or on another team. It sounds like this Wellman kid from high school is really opening eyes he just needs to keep working.I'm wondering if any of the kids that were invited to camp will get signed.

If this guy becomes a player in the nhl the trade was a steal. A 7th rounder is nothing to give up.

More reason why he needs some time to grow. The kid needs to get bigger as with almost all these kids. I just don't believe in rushing any of these kids unless they come out like McKinnon which none of them are. Let's finish the tank. Now do we have 6 picks in the first 2 rounds or 5?

I'm in the same boat. I really hope I'm wrong but I don't think we land either of those guys unless Murray unloads some players on the roster during the season. I just have this strange feeling that Darcy started this tank for high picks and a solid chance at McDavid and now that he is with the Coyotes I just have this feeling that because this team has hardly any offense that they somehow land McDavid. That would be huge for a struggling fan base. And it's just out luck!
