Colorado, I find the least offensive. I'll deal with it if Dallas or NYI wins. I don't want SJ or Columbus or St. Louis winning one before Buffalo does, but I suppose in the last case, we can at least enjoy some O'Reilly melodrama on SabreSpace. Carolina and especially Boston can ***** right off.

Expect this to be addressed in the forthcoming* lockout. *Because Heaven forbid they negotiate, you know, now.

Is this one of those Jimmy Vesey type situations?
-
Yes, because I have to constantly explain to my elderly father what it means. Then he asks me why they don't just call the guy an end or a linebacker.
-
Oh, most definitely they were. I knew those terms as a seven-year-old. On your comments re: Beane: He's got me in his corner now, although I'm still disturbed by that trade with Miami last draft.
-
You'll find out soon enough, smart guy.

It's always in all caps, too: EDGE. Annoying. It's either a LB or a DE. Will, Sam, Mike, and Jack have been around for at least forty years.

I swear that dude sounded like Milbury and not McGuire. Yeah, that's not helping his case.
-
Milbury. It's a three-person deal, with Kenny Albert in the lead. Well, she's the best person on the broadcast, medal or no.
-
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot with this TV crew. We've got Kenny Albert, who wouldn't know a puck from a cheeseburger; some unnamed woman who seems to know what's up and who actually is on point; and Milbury. And of course the two idiots are crowding her out of the conversation. What is this version of hell?

That is wonderful. And then you had to go and ruin it with a clickhole link.

No thank you.

Jeremy White has a hater?

It's been three years, which has seemed like a decade. Teemu Pukki is the man to get to know. He's going to remain in the Premier League even if Norwich doesn't. He has 28 goals in 41 games. Played at Celtic a few years back. Timm Klose (no relation to Miroslav) is a stalwart defender. Onel Hernandez in midfield is creative offensively but usually looks for the most complicated way to clear the ball when he's in his own end. He's like a freaking human Rube Goldberg device back there, and it's frustrating. Tim Krul is the goalkeeper and has had some spot duty with his national team (Netherlands); he's a journeyman.

Thanks! I'm really excited. I know they're not going to win the Premiership or anything, but it's nice that they're finally back up.
-
I like the move up and the pick. It really didn't cost much and the Bills have plenty of depth--they don't have plenty of starters. Hoping for a WR or TE next. Gotta give Allen some targets.

A Nylander for a Nylander.

KBC is never half full of visiting team fans unless it's the Habs or the Leaves, and it's been that way, rain or shine, forever.

How are you and I going to carry on our relationship if we don't look back to the simpler, more loving times, before little Liger was born? There's the rub. The game wasn't close and wasn't likely to get close (without the penalty), so it would have been open season for the Sharks.
-
Aren't they (the Bruins) already? In any event, I'm out after regular time. I have too much going on tomorrow. Goodnight all!
-
I'll note that the arena is silent, SILENT, @PASabreFan in a game 7 with the home team up. It's DC, which I've explained before is not a hockey city, but it is SILENT.

Good point.

Everything I saw early mentioned the Sabres and the Sens in the same sentence, so I'm going with an educated guess that it was Martin or his agent, since neither team would report on what the other is doing.
-
Well, Botterill isn't the one who floated it. I'll blame him if he hires the guy, but I'm not going to blame him for the news of the day.

So going back to "the call" for a minute--I've read a couple of things elsewhere that have expanded my view. What happens if the refs don't give 5 + game to Eakin? You have a situation where a team is down 3-0, with ten minutes left, their captain is out and bleeding from his helmet, in a series where there had been plenty of nastiness on both sides. The refs would have completely lost control. I think you're looking at a Buffalo vs. Ottawa situation there. Since everything I've read indicates that 2 + 10 would not have been allowed, the refs might have saved a few players some headaches (not metaphorically) with that call.
