For the Catholics out there--this is the official message from Bp. Fisher: Many areas of Western New York are facing heavy snowfalls and drifting along with extremely high winds, bitter wind chills, and power outages. These are dangerous and life-threatening conditions. Please respect the travel bans in our communities. Although it is Christmas, in these dangerous conditions, no one should put themselves or others at risk. This Christmas, I have asked those parishes who have live stream capabilities to live stream their Christmas Masses. Do not attempt to attend Masses in person. Use the live stream technology to spiritually connect with others in prayer as we celebrate the birth of Christ. Also, please check on neighbors who may be in need. I wish all a Blessed and Safe Christmas, especially our first responders, utility workers, hospital workers, and all those serving our communities during this historic storm.

So my air bnb has a digital antenna. This is my first experience with one. Maybe it's the storm, but this SUX. I'll be finding a stream for sure.

This is the main problem that I'm reading about. People need to stay home and not put further stress on the system. Even if it means missing Christmas with family--which is my current state of affairs, although my parents have been informed that any more illicit grocery trips will result in legal action.

I am not kidding...I am seriously pissed off at my parents, one of whom is mentally handicapped, the other of whom is physically handicapped, for driving to Dash's today even though they have everything a person possibly could need at home. It really did take them 30 mins to drive back seven blocks. I need to vent and this is where I'm doing it. It's like dealing with two toddlers but with driver licenses, I've rearranged my life to care for these two, and I'm pissed off.

My parents apparently are being jackasses and went to the supermarket even though they NEED nothing. They have enough food, TP, soap, etc. for weeks. Thanks to God they got back home. It took them 30 minutes to drive seven blocks home from the market. I'm one step away from applying for a freaking guardianship. Is that what we're calling it now?

It doesn't matter whether it was new or old. It still was snow and it still got in the way of living normally.

We sledded off of the roof of our house. Small one-storey house, but still.

Well yeah. Except BC, right? More brown people there? This is a made up word.

I think Inky and Liger were involved as well. Also, I can't sleep, if it isn't obvious.

This is not a fun time of the year to lose someone and I know that from personal experience. God bless you and your family. Wash yo' *****.

All those stories that the airlines placed in the news--the ones about unruly passengers (who probably were driven to madness by the airlines themselves)--have led to further inequity, as well. Did you get your bag?
