Sorry I disagree.. He will put on weight. I graduated HS 5'10" 160 grew 4 inches afterwards but didnt hit 180 til 30 now 205. I worked as a bicycle courier in college, ate 5 meals a day and a pint of Hagen Daz and couldnt put on weight. With today's training and diets Im sure if the Sabres can do it... but we have this same tired discussion everytime an 18 or 19 year old in the organization is skinny... whatever.

Agreed I want a defender who can skate, has some nasty and if they are 6'4" all the better... but first and foremost can play and has good hockey sense

I grew up with my radio under my pillow listening to RJ with volume turned down as low as possible so my folks couldnt hear it during the early 70s... now almost 60 myself RJ has been calling games since I was 7 and other than watching TD on TV... Is it weaker overall or is it not determinate because of all the lost covid time... Scouts and teams have their work cut out for them. I do think it harder to project these guys below the top 5 and the ability of these guys to grow and develop a la a Quinn type. Im betting more than a few surprise people, hoping those surprises end up on the Sabres.

Bills with their later cb and LB picks seemed to be looking for guys who can run and cover... gonna be interesting to see how the fit and how they develop.

Paquette sounds plausible... would really like Kadri or Forsberg, but have my doubts they would jump ship... Kadri if he wanted to be close to home... Accari maybe for a winger or Copp... both have had down years but have decent history and are bigger bodies... just not sure the fit... plus need to have room for Quinn and Peterka... On D there are a lot better names out there... Charot... Zadorov maybe? Who do you guys like and think are possible?
