I have always liked Mitts, he finally figured out how to play along the boards... he is an elite passer... Yeh is shot is nothing special and occasionally loses his puck in his feet or flubs it... but with the right players that take advantage of his game... plus he now hustles back and have seen him break up many passes... I say keep him for what he is.

Played in first responders hockey tournament this weekend at Brewster Ice arena plus beer league game... 5 games in 2 days... lots of fun but crap im still dead tired

You are assuming a lot... growth this summer... what each brings to the table which is very different... does playing at NHL level help or hurt either's growth and finally Sabres needs... I am not saying you are wrong... just that I wouldnt put that line in the sand. If I had to guess and this is just a guess... start with Savoie and see how Kulich starts next season in the A... use him as the first call up... but who knows??? I like Rousek's willingness to go to front of the net... Sabres consistently need this badly...

I like the idea of a third kid line maybe Kulich and Rousek with Mitts... Rousek seems good going to the net... put Savoie in there with Krebs on a speed line with Girgenson, as others have said Sabres need the depth at forward... Trade ok to Minnie and trade Ollie for a D? Not sure if this happens next year?

I get your frustration... mine too and yeh they are unwatchable right now.... but look at the team... this is not about coaching... its a stepwise build of the youngest team in hockey... heck Edmonton has taken a while too but they didnt screw the pooch catering to MCDavid like Sabres did with Eichel.... or give away willy nilly high draft picks for a psycho goalie... just saying unless TPegs opens his wallet again and I doubt it after his past experiences this is probably as expected with the youngest team in the league lots of highs and lots of lows.

Only saving grace Detroit, Ottawa are young teams struggling as well... sigh.

Glad I missed the one... needed the rest before shift... Guess it didnt go so well? Tage ever take off his dress? Ollie still wearing high heals? These guys need to learn the diference between point early in the season and making a playoff run.
