    I am with you Radar on both counts. I am adopted, my widowed mother had an affair, math wise after Kennedy was shot 9 mos so I cannot judge, but am grateful she gave me up at 6 days. That being said, given all the unwanted pregnancies and other disregard for human life I am understanding in cases of rape and inces t (banned?) in the 1st tri-mester. Though as a man I'd be ok if all women wanted to get together and outlaw abortion.. My responsibility is and always was using protection so it did not need to be a choice.

    Again he was the first to remove an oppressive regime and the people who stole from the Cuban people. He stood up to the corrupt western busnesses propping up said regime. Yet he was no angel and because of his distrust of the west and all the x Batista's waiting in Florida for some weakness he kept Cuba isolated to the detriment of the Cuban people. It was too bad, but the US, not sure they could, never was able to reach out to him to give him the reassurances he needed. Did he treat his rivals rithlessly, absolutely, was ever able to see thru his ideological agenda for the good of his people, not really. But did he prevent a Haiti, you betcha.

    And normally I can but JJ you misunderstood Castro and hx and was spouting simplistic right wing rhetoric instead of rational reasons to dislike him, yet why and how he came to power. And I get sick of folks on both right and left being misinformed and then spouting false conclusions as hyperbolic rhetoric. Your not usually in that category but you went into this one misinformed and spouting false hx.

    Russia in process of importing nukes hence the blockade. They were not operational but in process. Invasion wouldve been a problem, but Cuba didnt trust US not to, so the compromise was to remove the nukes in the harbor and remove the blockade.

    The missles were attemped to be put there because Russia wanted first strike capability as a hedge against ours in Europe. And had nothing to with Castro directly read you fin hx. Nobody is calling him a saint just because he was controlling over Cuba as a tyrant and a dictator does not exclude him from being a revolutionary for kicking out a corrupt government. Again know you history and Batista his predessor supported by the US was even more evil. Again stfu till you know what your talking about.

    JJ you are over the top and just plain wrong. Castro as heinous as he was, was a reaction to US imperialism and laissey faire capitalistic corruption in small countries. He was very influential over many years and a constant reminder of Soviet closeness during the cold war as well as an exporter of communism especially in Africa and parts of South America during the 70s and 80s till his health started declining. Your understanding of Castro's significance is abviously limited. That being said, glad he is gone. He was a nasty dictator, but please read about his hx outside of Fox news post mortems. I lived through much of it. When you understand what duck and cover under your third grade desk you might understand.

    Sabres need another top scorer and top D, not yet in the system. So despite being frustrated, I am ok away with another tank year, especially after this start. There seems to be a lot of scoreres in this draft, not so much on D. So if Sabres can sign two D... Kulikov and another D and draft a high end scorer then DD should be let go.
