Draft/offseason success... At least 2 D in first 3 rounds, trade VO, sign or trade for a top 4 D... as for goalie... such a weird position but since there are so many good vets available... get one... lose Comrie... UPL is an enigma... he could become really good at any time... dont give up on him.. As far as season goes... make the playoffs and compete well.

That would be really nice given all his early promise, struggles and maybe a glimpse of maturity setting in!

I too chose JJP, think we saw a bit of what he will become towards the end of the season... seemed like the light bulb was going on... see Quinn as a steady improver... Krebs could take a big step as well but doesnt have the size yet to not talking height more strength to take a huge jump but given how hard he works could see that jump late in the year... to me Power is an unknown as far as how much he truly jumps because he is so good now... I see as he gains strength his physicality could jump big time like Dahlin's did.. gonna be fun to watch!

Glad Z is back... OK I love but not much left in the tank... I agree trading Ollie and sitting OK when he burns out in October opens some doors on the crack forcing younguns to really earn it... Im meh about Jost and hope Kulich out plays him... Id like to see Kulich get an opportunity too... Savoie hit a wall late and needs to grow... nother year for all cant hurt... Really want to see D upgrade and goalie is such a question mark but all of this has already been said... Go Sabres

I hear what Perrault is saying and would agree prior to last year... but despite what that quitter says JE (Im not bitter much) I have to agree the Sabres have turned the corner... sure they need better D, hope Levi is the real thing and need more depth... but they are finally fun to watch... and a dangerous team to play against . So gotta say this former ***** show of a team finally gonna be competitive... Murray's drunken incompetence and the rest that followed has been turned around by KA and DG even if I am not privy to all the inside stuff... Everyone points to TT, but what those to have done with computer gamer Mitts may be their biggest reclamation... just sad that they couldnt figure it out with Ollie... that being said there is so much talent coming it wont matter. Sadly yes... due to bad coaching, bad GM decisions and no competent goalie... spilt milk but im hoping... it appears the Sabres are finally on the right track... again we shall see but it is getting old.

I think some of these young guys are over thinking... get some pro experience elc then move on if that is what you want to do.
