Cozens will be 2C, though agree Sabres could use a stop gap. I see Mitts as a 2w. Sabres need to keep drafting scoring Cs till they hit and let the rest play wing. The on ice awareness of guys used to playing C is valuable. Still are there any scorers out there needing a change in scenery say Arvidson? Or is he another Sheary?

Sometimes you have to make guys think twice about going into certain areas... makes their passes off target more often.... need better goaltending though to pull it off.

Hate to say it Jake looks like a mangy mutt out there that could use a bath and a good new home.

Needs to still get stronger and learn how to score from blue line... Seems to be getting better slowly... not as many give aways or wasted shots getting blocked.

Losing Skinner and Oloffson really hurt... Adding Frolik will help longer term, but this team needs so much on offense that I agree it is a long way off... though I don't think last night was indicative of how they will play all the rest of the season... more likely up and down back and forth. Team needs scorers and outside of Jack they just don't have any right now. Next year Cozens will be here... hopefully one or both of Mitts and TT can be added if they can play with some appropriate moxie and maybe a free agent. If the Sabres win the lottery or the 2nd pick they may have another player that could be used... big if, Yes I have to agree they are a long ways off... sigh.
