The Sabres literally can’t respond with the force they need because they don’t have it. None of these guys are willing or have the size to impose their will. It affects all facets of the game. They are intimidated. The GM hung a bunch of skilled kids out to dry with no one on the team that does the dirty work. It’s the GM and it’s the players. Just a dubious team with no fix in sight. Get rid of all of them. Seriously.

And now they are getting man handled by men because they are boys. Peterka with the laziest half hearted back check on the Wilson goal. It’s all of them. They just don’t care enough. None of them outside of Zucker.

Well if by Tom Wilson problem you mean any opposing team’s forward who goes to the net then you’d be correct.

Yeah big brussel tried pushing them on everyone a decade or so ago. I absolutely loathed them growing up but I was curious as to why they were gaining popularity. I listen to how they are getting prepped. Cover with cheese, garlic, bacon, brown sugar, butter and whatever other nonsense. I’m sure those brussel sprouts are delicious. As would a shoe covered in all that stuff.

I had split pea soup (yes the Campbells condensed variety) once a week growing up up. Loved it. Haven’t had it in years tho. It’s funny how life comes full circle, Campbell’s is now the largest customer we have at work.

I really can’t do any more Sabres. Just endless conjecture that none of us can fix. So let’s start with what are some foods that everyone enjoys that you find incredulous that anyone can even be in the same room with them? Mine is cooked mushrooms. I can deal with uncooked mushrooms in a salad but cooked mushrooms on pizza? On a burger? In pasta sauce? I don’t understand the attraction. They are like dead slugs in your mouth. Nasty.

I guess if you like good hockey. We can’t watch our prospects with any hope of them being successful NHL players.

The palm tree thing was never funny. Also, it’s not a good look for one successful part of your empire to be chiding another part of the org that is struggling. Same team. Friendly fire not needed.

Terrible teams beat good teams every night in the NHL. No reason it can’t happen tonight.

The NHL has an outdoor game on New Years Eve and not one post in a hockey forum about it. I’m sure it’s partially due to the Sabres irrelevance but we used to have threads dedicated to these games. Now, I’m not sure how many people here actually knew there was a game. The NHL destroyed a unique fun experience but forcing the fans to drink from a few hose. You love outdoor games? We’ll give you ten a season. What’s that, you don’t care anymore? Well put it at 5 o’clock on a day dominated by other sports and for good measure well throw 12 of our own games on to compete. This league has a gun permanently aimed at their foot.
